Best Sports Bar in Town. Great Place! From the second that you walk into this place you are amazed. It is the the absolute best place to watch any sporting event. You practically have your own 50in plasma at each table. The wings are the biggest I have ever seen, the pizza is the best in town and my fried had the Big TIme Burger. That was out of this world! Our server Marcy did a great jod taking care of us. She was very attentive and very plesant. I would never go anywhere else to watch any sporting event or even to get a good bar food at a reasonable price.
In reading this previous reviews people must really be miserable to write the things they write.
I have been to Real Time on many occasions and had numerous family parties and work functions there, never have I had any type of problem with the food or staff. The food is excellent and for the portions you receive the prices are awesome. The staff is always accommodating, seeing that when I walk in with people from work we mainly always need separate checks, no problem! If you ever want to have a good time this is the place to go, they have awesome food specials and there pizza is the best I have ever had. I f you are in the mood for a good time this is the place to go.
No Class Manager. This is the worst establishment I have ever been to!!! Me and some friends decided to go here for the Hawks Stanley Cup Finals. I called ahead to reserve a table. They told me that they would not because people did not show up and they lost business. Now, fast forward to the Bears Packers NFC Championship game. Me and my wife show up 2 hours early. We found a table near the big screen with no chairs we asked the staff for some chairs and they grabbed the manager. He stated that he would leave it up to the crowd on who gets the chairs. We looked for seats and found to my disbelief that most of the tables were reserved. This was a complete 180 from the Hawks game a few months back. We still found a table with chairs away from the big screen. Just after the first quarter, there was a raffle for a jersey. They stated that the raffle would take place at half time. Half time passed and still no raffle. After the game we asked the waitress when the raffle would take place. She stated that it took place already. The manger then came to our table again. I told him we did not here the numbers raffled off. He stated that they were and that was it. I told him that we never heard it. He proceeded to tell me I had two seconds to calm down. I then became irate. I told this so called manager that I was not irate but upset at the whole experience. He did not care at all and said better luck next time. This would not fly at my place of work. And I would be severely reprimanded for such attitude. I hope they wise up and find a better replacement. A manager that will follow the rule that the customer is always right. I am usually a very calm person and would usually be very understanding. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Good Sports Venue. I have been to Real Time on a number of occasions, and it is always a good time. The majority of my visits involved a UFC Pay Per View or large sporting event, and the place is always busy. There are plenty of televisions, the food is good and the waitresses are pretty good. Don't miss the late night DJ...She's a trip.
Last night several friends and I got together to watch a basketball game and get some drinks. We decided on Real Time Sports since they have multiple TV screens, we called prior to going to the restaurant to ensure they would be carrying the game, they assured us that it would not be a problem due to the fact it was being aired on a local sports station. So we headed up to the restaurant, we entered at about 6:15 p.m. and spoke with a manager and several employees to ask to have the game put on a television near our table. The game start time was 7:00 p.m., we were not able to get the game on until 7:30 causing us to miss the majority of the first half. We must have spoken with five to six different employees asking, and by the time the game was actually on, begging to get the game on any TV.
This was only the beginning of our problems at Real Time Sports, we waited around ten to fifteen minutes before we received any type of service. We had to ask bus workers to refill drinks, we had dirty glasses, and even a sticker in one drink. The final straw was that a friend had ordered a chicken sandwich, and what he received was a turkey club. He decided to eat the club due to the fact that it took nearly 40 minutes to get a club sandwich out, he could only imagine how long it would take to get another sandwich.
Our waiter?s attitude or lack of kindness was out of this world. It was reminiscent of a robot that does not speak or react to anything. No apologies for any of the mishaps, just a simple ?Okay? was his reply to our numerous problems.
I very rarely criticize the service industry seeing that I was apart of this world for quite a while, but last night was just atrocious. In all aspects of the restaurant business Real Time Sports failed miserably last evening. I would not return or advise anyone else to visit this establishment if you are looking for better than average service. Real Time Sports should change their name to Smoke and Mirrors.
