“almost hate to let people onto such a great place for fears of not being able to get a table, but I want this restaurant to stay in business!”
“Great food, friendly service and warm dining, stylish dining rooms.”
Best of Wheaton. Fun menu. Exceptional food quality. Good wine list. Excellent service. The patio at dusk on a summer evening is the best.
Not worth it.
I went to Adelle's after watching "check please" and hearing rave reviews. Although the ambiance is appealing, everything else about our visit was not. We arrived at 4:45 to an empty restaurant and after being seated had to wait too long to be waited on and we were the only ones there!
I ordered the special pear martini that was just awful. Our appetizer of portobello fries was very greasy and way too salty.
My main course was the meatloaf that just didn't have any flavor. Everything including the mashed potatoes and green beans were just ordinary. We also tried the salmon which was much better.
Dessert was also just average, I had the choc. pecan tart, nothing great.
After attempting to get to Adelle's a few times and finally making it there today, what a disappointment! When leaving the restaurant neither the wait staff or hostess said anything. Guess it's too much for anyone there to say "thanks" or "goodbye". I'll never be back. Certainly not worth the trip or the $$.
Go to Dorado in the city, great food, much better than Adelle's.
Editorial Review by Jennifer Olvera. This modern, mellow American bistro dishes up pretty plates to conservatively clad gourmands.
Hidden Treasure!!!. I almost hate to let people onto such a great place for fears of not being able to get a table, but I want this restaurant to stay in business!!! Hidden between Glen Ellyn and Wheaton is Adelle's. Great food, friendly service and warm dining, stylish dining rooms. Great patio in the summer!!!
A Wonderful Experience!. Beautiful rooms, attentive service and outstanding food! We visited there several times during the warm summer and fall evenings and dined on the lovely patio which we enjoyed just as much as the beautifully appointed dining rooms. The food is a wonderfully urban suprise in this cozy suburban neighborhood, and the wine selection is amazing. I highly recommend it! It's worth going out of your way for!
