The Scene – Handmade mother-of-pearl mirrors hang from exposed brick and sandstone-colored walls in this relaxed 70-seat space where local couples settle in at comfortable camel-colored banquettes. Low lighting, ambient music and welcoming service add to the romantic vibe. – – The Food – The eclectic, European-inspired menu boasts creative, comforting dishes. Winning appetizers include succulent black tiger shrimp in subtly sweet orange nage and a toothsome ragout of farm-raised rabbit with bacon, leeks, lavender and horseradish. Great food marred by an almost non-existant waiter. We had to flag down the hostess whenever we wanted anything. It's a shame the service was so horrible... the food's delicious, the atmosphere cozy, but I highly doubt I'd go back. In fact, when we paid, we made sure we paid the hostess rather than our waiter so I could emphasize that the small tip I left was a) because of that and b) intended for her rather than him since she was the one who actually paid attention to us.
- Pros: delicious food, decent prices
- Cons: service, service, service
Tasty but inconsistent

First visit was a Thursday. Food was excellent. Service was as good as the food. Salmon and Steak Frites best on menu. Next visit was on a Saturday night. Food was good. Service left something to be desired. Waiter tried upselling all areas of the menu. One in our party asked well done steak. Waiter didn't suggest. But didn't matter. That's what was desired. Came not well. Sent back. Five minutes later same thing. Sent back again. Would it be easier to say no we won't cook well and save all parties the trouble? I think so. Finished main course and didn't want dessert. Waiter again was focused on upselling. Came across pushy and with attitude. Overall don't think I would recommend for the weekend. Not at least until staff/service has had chance to work out the kinks and/or find the right service oriented staff. Weekday would highly recommend.
- Pros: Food, Ambience
