The point for hiring a moving company is to make the move easier on myself and my family. The last time we moved, I went with a company that was completely unreliable and pretty much useless. We
wound up with about $1000 worth of broken stuff, a couch that lost a leg, and several other really annoying expenses. They pretty much took the money and ran, too, so I didn’t get any of that back. Never again.
Olympia gets all the stars I can give! After they heard about my experience with the other company, they went out of their way to make sure everything went well with us. Fast, professional, and NOT destructive, Olympia did a fantastic job of moving us. A big thank you to Olympia! Next time we move, we’ll use them again. If we move again anyway.…

This has been one of the best experiences in moving I’ve had in a while. I was not looking forward to it, but when my brother recommended Olympia, I knew they would be a good fit.
Scheduling my move was really easy. They were friendly on the phone, and answered all my questions.
When the day came to move, the Olympia moving team showed up looking very professional and ready to work. I loved that. They worked pretty fast-paced and still maintained a high level of care as far as handling breakable things went.
Once everything was packed, they loaded it up into the truck really quickly without any problems. Nothing was dropped or damaged at all, not even when they moved the furniture. Some of those pieces are pretty bulky, too, so I was relieved they work so well!
The unloading was pretty much the same thing in reverse and went really fast. I was unpacking and settling in within a few short hours! I’m impressed.…

It was ridiculous how many companies we had to go through before we found Olympia. Not only were they the first company to answer our call and follow-up, but they were the first company who actually
met our budget and kept it that way.
When we called, it was like this huge weight was lifted. They answered all of our questions and we felt confident in choosing them as our movers.
My fiance and I knew we wouldn’t be able to get all of this stuff moved ourselves, so we decided to sort of start shopping around.
They were very accommodating and helpful as far as moving each room went and our special requests. We were upgrading, so the whole process meant a lot to us.
The thing I really can’t get over is how quick they were. Without sacrificing the quality of their work, they moved us within such a short amount of time… it didn’t even feel like a move. We were afraid they’d forgotten something and even double-checked. Very pleasant experience!!!…
The worst experience anyone could ever have.
The worst experience anyone could ever have, I was only moving 30 miles away from my previous location. So it has nothing to do with distance but everything to do with negligence and
irresponsibility. I was set with my moving date which had been confirmed several times by phone, texting their agent and in writing. Moving day came, Olympia NO SHOW.
It was the most horrible experience ever. We were all set to move, waiting for movers that nevered showed, called or answered their phones. Called around scrambling for people to move us and a truck big enough to move a four bedroom home with as few trips as possible. Because I had to go with whomever I could find, Many of my furniture and appliances were broken or damaged. After two months still unpacking I came across Oylmpia's number. Curious as to what happened, I called and finally reached the agent that was helping me. All she could say is I'm sorry I was moved to a different department and some one else was so to take care of my clients. Two months later, broken and scratched up furniture that doesn't help much.…

First they came 2 hours late ! We waited and waited no one called us to tell us they were running late we called for 30 mins and finally after 20th try some one picked up and said "Oh Ya they are running 2 hours late " Well a courtesy call would have been nice! .
We moved from one apartment to the other 3 miles away. We were told in the quote that it will take 3 hours and also added 1 hour travel time. We said its only 10 mins away and were told that this is just an estimate and they have to put it there ! After they were done we were told to pay an additional $89 as stated in the estimate when we said destination A to B is only 15 mins they said thats what we agreed to in the estimate so regardless of 15 mins we have to pay for the whole hour !! WE WERE TOLD IT WAS AN ESTIMATE !! That is what we aggreed to !! Well after talking to the movers and the supervisors they did not budge ! The supervisor was rude and said well just contest the charge !!!! The so called "travel fee " is not mentioned in the contract or anywhere else !
After they left and we started to unpack and found out that a box was missing and they had broken a entry way mirror and a chairs leg! The aggrevating part was not that it was broken but that it was taped together so that it appears to be unbroken !! These are shaddy people !!! If that was not enough ! A whole box of things was missing !! We sufferred damages of almost $1000. Not to mention the box they stole that had our family pictures !!!. When we called them we were told that according to the liability clause in the contract we will be paid 30 cents /pound of things damaged which comes to maybe $25. Our concerns of the movers being shady and trying to hide the damage were ignored !
Please do not hire these people ! I am sure the 4-5 star reviews may have had a reasonable experience or maybe they just havnt realized that something is broken or missing but I would think twice before you hire them to avoid the horrifying experience we had !…
