Poor Customer Service. I had previously written a good review, but after our latest dealings with the restaurant I have to change my tune. We made a delivery order and when we received our food we saw that it had chicken instead of tofu. This has happened to us before so we weren't angry, but we did call to have them rectify the situation, but instead they argued that we hadn't ordered tofu. Having ordered from many, many Thai restaurants and being vegeterian, I can tell you we did order tofu. Then we were either disconnected or hung up on, not sure. When we called back we talked with someone else and they said our food usually comes with chicken and shrimp, nice to know; I guess that's why we ordered tofu! Then she said they couldn't get us a replacement for over an hour because their one delivery person was out. So we asked to cancel our order and refund our card, but they wouldn't do that, instead we get credit to eat at a place we will no longer be frequenting.

Under-staffed, slow service, go to Thai Sookdee instead.. Given the large number of fantastic restaurants in Evanston I was surprised last night to receive such slow and begrudging service from the one over-worked waitress attending to my section of the restaurant. To top it all off they wouldnt honor the coupon we had.

Although the food was okay, it isnt anything special and the portions were a little small.

One El stop north at 1016 Church St you will find Thai Sookdee which has much better food, excellent service and the main dishes are on average only a dollar or so more.

If you want great Thai food in Evanston go to Thai Sookdee.
