Editorial Review for Golden Pacific Market – by Valerie Moloney

In Short
A stroll up the aisles of this Edgewater Asian mart is an exploration in Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai staples. Snap utong beans, Squid brand fish sauce and fragrant jasmine rice sold in 25- and 50-pound bags, dried salted fish, along with numerous curry sauces keep ethnic food lovers coming back. Unlike some Argyle grocers, this store keeps its produce fresh and dry goods neatly displayed.

This is the first review I've ever written but I just had to because the service and selection was incredible. So friendly and helpful. I would recommend Golden Pacific Market to anyone!

SUPER CLEAN, affordable, and excellent service. It is a great market for your basics in Oriental cooking. I have been shopping at local markets for many years, and this is one of the best. They have a great selection of everything. I especially like the various sauces, noodles, imported drinks, and fresh produce (baby bokchoy and chinese broccoli!! YUM!). This is also the perfect place to introduce a friend to Oriental cooking without worrying about them being turned off by strong odors or cluttered aisles. The employees are very helpful. If you are a loyal customer, they give you new products to try for free. Check it out, it's fantastic!

Pros: Clean, Well stocked, Inexpensive

Cons: There's only one?

Immaculate store is Edgewater's most diverse little nook for Asian groceries.  See the full editorial review.
