In Short – The owners of a Chicago antique shop decided to start serving sandwiches to their customers in 1977--and it ended up taking over the business. As the restaurant expanded, natural woods and antique fixtures were used to re-create the signature, old-time country store look at every location. The warm, fresh-roll sandwiches share this classic character--from roast beef and provolone to the Wreck (salami, roast beef, turkey, ham and Swiss). Malts, shakes, root beer floats and homemade ice cream sandwiches complete the throwback.

Boring!

I used to love Potbelly, but they've lost their touch. It's just boring in a town that has so much amazing food stuff going on. Since it's now owned by Sears, I can't support it.

IF ITS YOUR FIRST TIME THERE YOU MIGHT FEEL INTIMIDATED BY THE FAST PACED ENVIORMNT, DONT BE.
GREAT FOR THOSE IN A HURRY AND KNOW WHAT THEY WANT.
IF YOU ARE NOT IN A RUSH LOOK OVER YOUR OPTIONS BEFORE YOU GET IN LINE BECAUSE THE LINE IS LONG BUT MOST PEOPLE IN LINE HAVE ALREADY BEEN HELPED AND THE PERSON BEHIND YOU IS PROBABLY LOOKING TO GET BACK TO WORK FAST.
YOU NEED TO REMEMBER YOU ARE IN DOWNTOWN CHICAGO AND EVERYONES LIFE IS RUN BY THEIR WRIST WATCH. NOT ALL POT BELLYS ARE FAST PACED BUT DOWN TOWN CHICAGO ITS IMPORTANT TO MOVE FAST YOU MIGHT PASS UP A GREAT TRADE ON THE STOCK MARKET OR GET YOUR CAR TOWED BECAUSE THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU SAID HUUMMM LETS SEEWOW THAT LOOKS GOODI GUESS I WILL JIST GO WITH HAVE FUN ENJOY POTBELLYS IS GREAT.
