In Short
In the shadow of the Western Avenue overpass at Belmont, this former police hangout has reemerged as a polished but uncomplicated neighborhood bar. The narrow cream-and-red interior features plentiful woodwork, framed mirrors and a bar nearly the room's length; stools, window-side ledges and four high-top tables provide seating. Bartender-selected tunes and one television are the only distractions. The full bar has nine draft beers and 13 bottles that run the gamut of brands and flavors.
