Best Food in Town!!!. I have never had a bad experience, in fact, a tear comes to my eye every time I eat their food. It's that good!! Everyone is very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful. Try the oysters. Seriously, tears of joy! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Fresh Food but over priced.. We recently moved to the area from Los Angeles. I was excited when I saw swordfish since sushi is a mainstay in my diet. We were surprised at the prices for basic sushi at this place. The food was fresh and displayed nicely but I think many of their items are overpriced. I will be looking for other sushi places in the area.

NICE DECOR, BUT VERY EXPENSIVE. THE DECOR WAS EXCELLENT. FOOD WAS FRESH , BUT VERY PRICEY. THE OWNER DID VERY LITTLE BUT CUT THE APPLES AND ARRANGE THE CARVED CARROTS. WAY TOO MUCH HELP. REDUCE STAFF AND PRICES.

great food, tasty appetizers, fabulous martinis, service not so good. as far a four star dining goes it is pretty much a standard in our home. We have one son who is a chef and a daughter who is a pastry chef. The food was very good to excellent all categories, appetizers, salad, soup, drinks and entree's, we were there early on a saturday evening, and there was no reason for the slow and very slow service. Our entree's arrived quite some time after the salads were finished and cleared from the table, and they arrived spaced sporadically across a time period of probably 20-25 minutes those served first were almost finished when the last entree arrived at the table. If they could address and resolve the customer service issues I would be apt to rate them with 5 stars rather than 3. so if you want to spend over 2 hours and a half to dine then have at it. However if you want to hang out somewhere and watch others dine, then I would recommend Swordfish.

Editorial Review. Contemporary sushi restaurant in Batavia specializes in sashimi, maki and nigiri.
