Chicago >Cloz Co
“The customer service department was rude.”
Worst customer service. I have ordered from Cloz in the past and gotten labels that were great. I placed an order recently and it was not the same. The font size on the labels was illegible. I called to see if anything could be done (exchange or at least have someone point me in the right direction). Before I could finish explaining, the rep snapped at me, "It explains everything on the website! What do you want from me?" What I want is better customer service and not to be snapped at when I was not being combative. I am disappointed with this company and their products are no longer what they used to be. I do not recommend them.
I wish I had an alternative for our camp uniforms!.
I spent over $1300 on required camp logo'd clothing and items for my kids, who are going for the first time to a camp that requires certain items to have the camp logo. I ordered in April, received email confirmation of my order right away, and was told several weeks later that my items should ship in mid-May and not to worry re: getting items in time for Baggage pickup on 6/18.
I then received multiple emails telling me some items were backordered, then would spend 30-50 minutes on several phone calls trying to find out a ship date, as it got to be June! Was told a few items were suddenly out of stock and were canceled from my order by EMAIL the week of Baggage pickup!
Items that did arrive didn't fit, per the sizes sold last year (tried on a friend's items from last year and ordered accordingly!) Medium sweatshirt wouldn't fit over my 9 yo son's head, but the matching medium pants fit fine, even a little big! The large sweatshirt arrived the DAY BEFORE Baggage pickup, and without a pre-sewn in name tag, which I had paid for!
Certain items, which I requested to be sent to my home asap and NOT to camp, which they had offered due to how late it was getting, were shipped - guess where? - to the camp!
I was running around like a maniac the few days before pickup, trying to buy missing items from local camp retailers who were understandably low on stock! (And, they all chuckled when they heard who I'd ordered through; apparently Cloz is well known in this area for being unreliable!)
One good thing is, it was easy to arrange thru Cloz, for the camp to return the several items I bought locally that were sent to camp. (Well, relatively easy. I was still on hold for 20 minutes before being helped, and we'll see if what she told me actually happens! I have learned to be very skeptical about this place!)
This morning, I emailed my kids' camp and begged them to consider authorizing one of the local camp retailers so I could have the option of using them for future required logo'd items!
At a minimum, I will never order anything I don't HAVE to from Cloz again! One of the worst retailing experiences I've ever had!
Some customers. I have dealt with the cloz customer in person and alot of the customer either one do not now what they want or they do not listen. You get your select few who place order on the web and never complete it. That frustrating because their order do not start processing until they finish and some customer take a month to complete an order. I understand the company make some mistake, but the customer is not always correct. Take it from " a customer".
CLOZ should close..
This is about the 10 year I have ordered from Cloz, and find they clearly do not improve with age.
They continually relate bad information, ship incomplete, and make the follow up process beyond tedious.
"The customer is always right" has never entered their thought process. I was told my daughters camp gear would ship this past Saturday. I was assured of that. It's Tuesday afternoon and when I called to follow up I am told it will go "maybe sometime this week". When asked for more specifics I'm told "We have 300 orders---it will be at least tomorrow before I get back to you."
I guess I have to wait another day to find out what they are shipping and what they are leaving out since their orders are rarely shipped complete. Their communication is miserable.
There has to be a better alternative.

Inconsistent, lots of out of stock items, no quality control on orders, They Will Leave you Hanging close to camp!. All of us have made them rich, and uncaring. They are not that good any more. I wouldn't trust them with an entire camp order - you will be very sorry. I ordered over $1000 worth of clothes and merchandise. The customer service department was rude. They input the wrong items in the system. When I received an email to confirm, I called and told them what was incorrect. They still got it wrong. I asked if certain items were out of stock, as I noticed with a prior order that they were. The customer service manager assured me all was available, then I got my shipment, only to find they were in fact out of stock. By then, it was so close to camp, so was everyone else. Let messaages with the owner and marketing director and received no follow up calls. They just don't care anymore. Next summer, I am going with anyother company for sure.
