DoGone Fun is amazing! We have an overprotective German Shepherd and they've got her eating out of the palms of their hands. They've got her playing nicely with other dogs, and more important, with people. Isabelle spent her first overnight there and had a blast. She even has a German Shepherd boyfriend! Don't worry--both dogs are neutered! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We felt perfectly comfortable leaving Isabelle there and will be doing it again soon. And it was surprisingly reasonable.

I have been a daycare and grooming client at Dogone Fun since the facility opened 5 years ago so I was very shocked to read two of the latest reviews regarding Dan Vaughn and the grooming department. Our dog is a Burnese Mountain dog weighing 120 lbs. He's very afraid of grooming and is very uncooperative. The entire grooming department is always very professional and calm, easing my dog into the room and then into the tub. Sometimes the daycare staff comes in to help lift him into the tub. The bathers are reassuring, gentle and very thorough. Contrary to the earlier reviewer's claim, the grooming department was light, organized, and very clean. I watched the entire procedure through the window. It is not true that the shades are drawn. Anyone is welcome to observe thru the glass. All the groomers appear very capable and knowledgable of different breed cuts. And the bonus is that Dan is one of the kindest individuals ever. He goes above an beyond to accomodate his clients. His knowledge of dogs and their quirks, and ailments is endless. He is respected by the clients who I've gotten to know over the years. Most say they would not take their dogs to anyone else. My dog comes out of the grooming department looking like a champion. His tail is wagging and he is relaxed and happy. He is no longer so fearful becuase of the care he gets from the grooming staff at Dogone Fun!

Pros: Parking, friendly staff

Cons: Sometimes hard to get an appointment on short notice
