Rude service. Food is okay for what it is and the price is ok for what it is but the service is erratic and they are not very kind.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN CHICAGO. I'm not sure who is running this place. But if they have any idea of the poor service their customer's are being given they should be embarrassed. After talking to fellow semi-regular customers I found out I was not the only one.

I went to get their lunch special one day and even though they had the sign out, they would not let me order off that menu. The woman actually refused to speak to me in english and repeated "i don't care, i don't care, i don't care" when i tried to ask for the manager or his phone number. She was rude from the beginning and I actually ended up leaving with out ordering anything at all. I called back later that day to leave a message for the manager, and was not surprised when he didn't return my call. I have called back 6 times since, and each time I have been given the run around. they tell me he's in thailand, then they give me a disconnected number, then they put me on hold, then they hung up on me, then they took their phone off the hook - it's probably better as I don't think you'd want to order from them anyhow. Believe it or not I am on hold with them right now.

Someone needs to step in and show this place that poor customer service like this is not acceptable. Though I don't know how since there doesn't seem to be any way to get ahold of management - or the management just does not care. Vote with your $$$ - DON"T EAT AT SILVER SPOON. I work at a large retail store near by and I use to recommend silver spoon to customers all the time. Now I will recommend not going there!

Too bad.... Food was fine but service was awful. The waitress failed to bring me chopsticks and hot sauce after I requested twice. I waited for 15 minutes to get my check and it was totaled incorrectly. I would not recommend this place to my family and friends.

Great experience - very accomodating.. I recently visited this restaurant for dinner on a vacation with my mom, a meat eater, and my sister, a vegetarian. I'm a vegan, so it can be definitely difficult to find a place to please us all without one going hungry later! It was the first time trying sushi for any of us, my mom being quite apprehensive of the whole experience. However, our waitress was very informative and suggested a dish that my mom ended up loving. Likewise, my sister and I were also very pleased with our meals - beautifully presented and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed, unique dinner in a charming environment.

Great value and food. The sushi here is the best I have ever had, and I've been many places around the city. The rolls are huge, and everything tastes fresh and high quality. I have been here many times, and the quality is just as good every time I go. You can tell the chefs put a lot of love into their work. More than any place I have ever been really. Servers are very attentive.

The only drawback I can think of is it is a little small. Not a problem the majority of the time, but if you like a lot of space between you and other people it could be a negative.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!. I've never had Thai Food this authentic- the Banana Blossom Salad is a MUST try (we get it every time). The Tom Gha is incredible and the "Shrimp in a Blanket" are as good as they get. The mango and sticky rice is the best in the city and so is the Thai Custard. The decor is not the best, but I'm not looking at the walls much when I go out to eat. And the prices... they're by far the lowest in the area, if not the city. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!

Love this place. Always get a good meal from this place. Whether its a lunch special or just a delicious thai food dinner, this is a great place to try for locals or people in from out of town and hanging out on Rush St. Highly recommended!

Fish is fine, but Management is fishy. WORST SERVICE!!! The food is ok, price is ok, BUT we made reservations and when we showed up, they didn't have a table for us, after waiting for 10 minutes for a table, we had to ask again for the table. Where they pulled a chair out from somewhere and placed it on the side of a 2 person table. When we complained they just looked at us like we were stupid. The thing is they put the chair practically in the fireplace. I had to sit at an angle to keep my head from hitting the mantle. Our server was good, but the management could use some reworking.

Mag Mile locals and daily lunch-breakers share this inviting space for fresh, seasonal sushi and solid Thai fare.. In Short
Offering quiet respite from its hectic River North surroundings, this long, well-lit space offers a serene setting of hardwood floors, a handsome sushi bar, and assorted Thai wall hangings. The waitstaff presents handwritten specials; Thai offerings feature warming tom yum soup and familiar entrees like pad thai and spicy basil, while sushi options include mango maki and summer rolls with tuna, yellowtail, green pepper, avocado and cilantro.
