The brand originated in the UK in the 1970s and first began selling through other stores. In 1994, the first Lush shop opened in Poole, England, and the store has been expanding to locations throughout the world. Specializing in creative, handmade bath products and cosmetics, the shop offers bath bombs, massage bars, soap, hair products, cosmetics and more. None of the products are animal-tested, and many of them are vegan, containing no animal or animal-derived ingredients.

At first I think of this place as a great place to pick up gifts, now I'm absolutely addicted. Their handmade products are righ up my alley and the flying fox bath wash is the most incredible soap I've ever come across. Their honey trap lip balm is great too, everything is great!! Perfect for Christmas gifts!

Great products and a good feeling everytime i leave.... ask for Liz, who gives fantastic service and is very knowledgeable about health and beauty. More expensive than the drugstore, but you will leave knowing what goes on your face and body and feel really good (and clean) besides!

Bath Bombs! Huge fist-sized effervesence that are certain to relax you after a tense day. I love the fun and fruity bombs, like SexBomb. Also the solid shampoos are awesome. They come in a small tin and last so long, perfect for travel. The shampoos give your hair awesome shine and volume. I've been a longtime mailorder fan of Lush, glad to see it's arrived in Chicago.
