The Scene – This buzzing room has a stripped-down, contemporary feel, with hardwood floors, exposed ducts and brick walls, and bold red and mustard-yellow tones. A 30-something crowd of couples and groups celebrating special occasions fills tables and a long banquette. Efficient servers keep things flowing smoothly. – – The Food – After experimenting with a French bistro concept and a name change to Bistro Campagne, this standby is back as Campagnola, with a classic menu of Italian specialties. Starters include favorites like carpaccio, minestrone and bruschetta, along…
beautiful new renovation

Campagnola is not a new experience for me and it simply is not the same amazing Italian I remember. I had some of the best meals of my life there and the food I have had recently just doesn't stand up. I don't know what the problem is, service was borderline snotty and there were several problems with the food. I'm not sure how long you should have to wait for pasta, but our meal took a ridiculous amount of time, and it wasn't a weekend. I'm sad to say I can no longer recommend Campagnola without hesitation.
- Pros: nice room, friendly greeting
- Cons: rushed, snotty service. overcooked pasta

Best restaurant in the area

This restaurant is open, contrary to the review that says theyve closed! They are now back to serving their original Italian menu; and it is better than ever!
I cant say enough about this place; we love it so much we eat here almost every week. They use local organic farmers and quality ingredients to create simple but delicious food.
They have amazing appetizers: mussels in saffron-cream sauce with garlic and Pernod, grilled radicchio with garlic aioli and goat cheese, & grilled diver scallops with artichokes, capers & brown butter, to mention a few.
They have lots of great pastas; the orrechiette with sausage, tomato, escarole & shaved garlic is one of my favorites. My husband loves the duck breast with coriander and honey roasted root vegetables. I also love the fact that they have three fish options every night of the week.
Don't miss out on this little gem!
- Pros: great food, friendly service, really nice ambiance
- Cons: Crowded on weekends, valet on Saturday onl
