Good times. Had a great time. I appreciated it not being overly crowded like Stone Lotus. I actually got to enjoy my drink with out it being spilled on me lol. Good music fun crowd and hot bartenders. I look forward to heading back there.

Pretension, Defined. A rude bouncer refused to let us in because we were wearing shoes with laces. He made us wait in a separate line while letting in other dudes who were wearing tennis shoes from a third line that seemed to pass money to him before going in. If this was about a cover charge we would have gladly paid it, but we were never even given the opportunity.

Fortunately from there we went to a more relaxed establishment that was more willing to take our money. I will never return to Level; it seems to be so successful that it can do without my business, and I've discovered I can do without paying for the opportunity to be mistreated by the squadron of bouncers outside of this (at best) mediocre night club.

First timer!. This was my first time being there and it was for a bachelor party. There was a ton of girls and a great looking crowd. The music was easy to dance to, and the drinks were pretty strong and not over priced. I think our bachelor had a great last night of fun! Thanks Level!

music is too heavy. We went on Friday night. Music was too heavy, the DJ played lots of remixes, and 2 songs at the same time, I even didn't even feel like dancing, other than that I liked everything. Good looking crowd.

Also, the bouncers didn't let us in just to check how it's inside.

always busy always fun!!!. ALWAYS!! i never go to level and get bored after 10pm, by closing time i don't want to leave!!!!! great music, if i don't want to hear hip hop i can go upstairs and hear house music. beautiful people, well poured drinks, and a great viibe with the location. i even go on week nights now!!!!

Average at best. My sister, one of our friends, and I went to Level in june. We went on a friday night, and the place was off the chain. We took a cab (obviously did not want to try parking). The DJ was in some type of box thing, and they dance floor in the back stayed packed. The drinks were ok, but I would advise smuggling in some shooters to help out the drinks. The music was ok but it's different depending on ehat level you're on. The guys were hot, and I loved the fact that it was an older crowd (not granddaddy older but couple of years outta college older). We went again on a saturday night and it was ummm...yeaa....not so great. We had to wait, paid waaay too much, and the music on the main floor stunk. I guess lightening can't strike twice. All in all, the staff is decent, the dance floor is cool, and the music is decent. I've had better club expiriences, and I have definitly had worse. This place is just ok.

Fun girls nite out at level!. Me and 3 of my girlfriends were in town from Minneapolis for the weekend and we were told to go to rush street for bars and clubs, the first place we saw was level and we had a blast! Two of my friends went in and me and my other friend were getting cash out of the ATM and I herd them let a guy in for half off, so I asked if we could get in free, and the guy let us, so that was cool! Then when we got in and had a drink a bouncer came up to us and gave us wrist bands for VIP, so we headed up there and got a drink and danced! Good music, spacious not crammed or crowed too much, the drinks were expensive, but not considering most places in Chicago. Were just used to mlps prices :) but defiantly recommended!

Selective Entrance at Discretion of Door Staff, So Loud you have to Shout. Amidst all the superior restaurants on Rush Street, it is unfortunate to say that Level does not bring the same experience one would expect. I arrived at midnight alone - my girlfriends were already in the club. There was no line, and yet the doorb*tch charged me a cover even though I had already been told there was none. If she was keeping the money for herself, she was very unprofessional - she didn't even bother to stamp my hand, which set of signals that it was a scam. I paid anyway, since ten bucks didn't matter - it was her attitude that compelled me to write this review. Anyhow, the decor was great inside.. the drinks were strong and they were worth it for the amount that we paid. The guy to girl ratio was about 2 to 1, which was great for single girls like us. However, what seemed funny to me was, if entrance was at the discretion of the door staff, why the hell was there a pregnant woman at the table beside mine?

pretentious.. expensive... snobby crew.... Would not recommend. Not fun... Music was all over the place.. not good..... drinks expensive... cliente was not very sociable. Staff looked like they were waiting for people to do something wrong so they can throw people out.

Ambiance looked contrived...

If you like random techno european mix music.........this is your place.........besides the beautiful women... the service is horrible. I have never felt so inferior in my entire life. One minute your sitting next to your best friend...the next some bouncer who randomly decides to kick you out after you tried to defend the waitress from an ignorant anit-female loud mouth is escorting you out of the place???? If you want to pretend to have fun dancing with random guys at 1AM...this is your place....if you want to spend 8 dollars on a drink that isnt worth it.....this is your place....if you want to have fun in the city of Chicago on a thursday....this is obviously not your place.....if you ever come to Level....wear a collar shirt.....pretend to be someone who you are not....and dance the night away to techno european music you have never heard before.
