Anti-Gay, Anti-Semitic. Overheard the owner saying both anti-gay and anti-semitic statements while talking with patrons. "I don't mind gay people as long as they put em somewhere else to live", discussing how gay people are only acceptable now because we need population control anyway. Also discussing Jewish people, talking about the "alleged camps" during WWII, stating he doesn't understand why the Germans get such a "bad rap". I will never again go to this bar where the owner has such hateful views

East Village old-fashioned corner tap has barely changed a thing over the years with charming results.. In Short
This old-school local might be in walking distance to happening strips of Chicago and Division but it feels miles away. The walls are adorned with vintage beer company paraphenalia such as Old Style trays, but the effect is charming. There's a small selection of drafts (Sierra Nevada, Goose Island's "312") but nightly specials tend to feature regional bottles. The jukebox and pool table keep old regulars and new neighbors occupied.
