If you want is all - go to VOLO!. VOLO is that special place where the food is exceptional and always complimented beautifully with the server's wine recommendation. When you sit in the backyard patio your worries in life will soon disappear and you'll feel as though you have been transported to another place in time when things in life where much simpler. Don't forget to save room for dessert, because your evening will not be complete without trying one, two, or maybe even three to complete your food extravaganza! Even after dessert you won't leave feeling too full, but instead you'll leave with the most amazing feeling of satisfaction! This cozy Roscoe Village restaurant delivers upscale small-plate cuisine in an unpretentious atmosphere..
The Scene
Small, granite-topped tables take up most of the room, making it best for couples or little groups. The dark brown walls, dim lighting, minimalist decor and velvet curtains keep the place modern, yet intimate. A bar shares the main dining room because space is limited, but customers never feel cramped.
The Food
Chef Stephen Dunne (mk, Spago, Rubicon) pairs tapas dishes such as duck confit and steak tartare with specific wine flights to take the guesswork out of choosing the right wine with your meal. The bubbly flight, which includes samples of Cava wine and champagne, and the food-loving flight, make perfect companions to the delicately seared halibut and rare sliced beef with fennel, shaved fennel and spicy greens. The true stars are the melts-in-your-mouth mussels floating in a garlic, butter and white wine sauce and the ahi tuna tataki served with marinated anchovies.

Something for everyone. We just love this restaurant. Fantastic wines and delicious up-scale, though unpretentious food. The small, tapas-style plates make it easy to mix and match. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive, and always seem to make just the right recommendations. Love all the tasty cheeses too! We will keep coming back.
