Restaurant nightmares

It was January 2nd 2012 we called the restaurant in advance and inquired about their lunch buffet, they said the price would be 10 dollars per person. My brother and I took our families there a total of 8 adults, we were shown our table and told that it is a buffet to help ourselves. As soon as we sat down with food on the table the waiter comes over and informs us that the buffet is 17 dollars per person we told him that we called in advance and were told it is 10 dollars per person he argued that since new years day was on a Sunday they are considering this Monday as part of the holiday and that the buffet special does not apply. To spare my self and family the embarrassement I took it with a grain of salt and decided to eat anyway. Now the food itself was below expectations, luke warm to cold. tasteless and unappealing. The service was lousy we were given small cups to pour our soda into. We had to flag the waiter to ask for coffee and tea, they don't have it on the buffet table, my nephew and two daughters would not even eat the food they said it was bland and dry. To add insult to injury once we paid bill and walked outside the waiter chased us and said did you pay your bill and we said yes then he said where is my tip. I really felt sick to my stomach and did not know what to say to this guy after the bad food we had in there. then he explained to us that this is how he makes his living and that management does not care for him at all. I felt sorry for the man and gave him a cash tip.
Awesome Dining Experience

I would highly recommend this restaurant to all of my family and friends. Our server was exceptional, the ambiance was fantastic, and most importantly the food was outstanding. I would recommend the Filet, the Lamb, or the Chicken, all three equally as tender and fresh. The next time I am in the Chicago area, Reza's is definately a must for me. I have only heard great things from my friends that dine at this restaurant regularly.
Horrible Dining Experience

We had a reservation, at 11:00 a.m., for 20 people for "Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet. When we arrived, they didn't have our table set yet. Had to wait. There were NO breakfast foods on the buffet, other than bagel halves and mini sweetrolls. We had to ask for omelets, which then they decided to open the omelet station at 11:40 a.m. We were never offered champagne until the end of the meal when we asked about it, at that point we were all too frustrated with the place. We all felt $19.95/person was steep for the horrible buffet and service. They also had the nerve to charge $10 each for the 2 children in our party (6 yrs old & 3 yrs old). We regretfully paid our huge bill and vowed never to return.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Everything, incl service, mgmt
Great food!

Ate there with my sister a few months back and we had the Family Style with the Filet Mignon, Chicken and Lamb, even though it's recommended for three or people. The appetizers that came out first were really good and the meat was really tender and tasty. You get a LOT of food but it makes for great left overs. Our server was really nice and took good care of us. I'd go back and I'd recommend it to others. I like that it has a local feel. Doesn't feel like a majorly franchised chain restaurant like some other big restaurants do.
- Pros: Nice service and really delicious food
- Cons: Tucked away so maybe a bit hard to find
Go to PITA INN instead!

AVOID IT .. Our 1st time and I totall hated it... very pricey and the food was nasty... our waitress was very slow and she was literally LOST... she kept forgetting to bring our food as ordered. She didnt even ask us or explain us how the family package on the menu works... she ended up suggesting a meal same as our appetizer. Told us our soups came with the food and then charge was on the bill with they didnt take it off.
Disaster............ I would rather go to Pita Inn in Wheeling... its way way better than this, not fancy but good food and decent prices!
- Pros: didnt notice any....
- Cons: the whole place
