“would drive little more for good food and service to Sakura on Algonquin Road!”
BECAREFUL. I was there to take-out food and I know I don't put any tip for a small order. I noticed on my credit card bill that they charged the tip. I could just let it go but they put the tip 20% of my order. They are NOT being HONEST and I will not go back there again. i would drive little more for good food and service to Sakura on Algonquin Road!!!
HORRIBLE SERVICE! Will not return..
After driving over 30 minutes to get there for our 8:15 reservation, we were told there was no table available. We sat in a cold waiting area for over an hour and ended up leaving because there was still no table.
Sadly, the manager wouldn't even come out of the back to talk with us. He sent his employee out to tell us that he was "too busy" to deal with us. So we had to take our business elsewhere.
I like their quality in food, but I will not put up with poor service in order to eat it. While it hurts me to think I will not be able to eat the Godzilla sushi roll again, I will NEVER return again.
Sushi heaven. A retro place in the suburbs. Young, hip Japanese chefs. I'm 60, but love the atmosphere, the excellent sushi and unique cocktails. Just wish it was open for lunch. When you get the craving for sushi and great Japanese entrees, this is the place to go. Sip on a hypnotic martini while you wait. This is my first time rating a restaurant.
The best of the best!! No one else compares!!. Every time we go there it is always fresh and great presentation. We tell everyone we know about it!
