Editorial Review for Enclave – by John Gerard McLaughlin
The Scene
Erstwhile warehouse space never looked this classy, with gleaming wood floors, elegantly arranged sofa and cocktail table seating and a kitchen-sink art piece covering an entire wall in a colorful jumble of paint, wood pegs, stones and mosaic tile. Intimate lighting and sheer curtains tame the timber ceiling and iron beam hugeness--15,000 square feet on two floors--while leaving plenty of room to shake it to the dance grooves, hang out or lose yourself in the well-dressed downtown crowd.
The Draw
Platform dancers and a blend of mainstream hip-hop and rock remixes inspire the crowd to get on the floor, martinis aloft, and swirl around without spilling a drop. Three bars upstairs and one down--the latter with more casual bar and banquette perches--guarantee easy access to the club's roster of clever signature drinks. Table service comes with fresh flowers and carafes of juices at hand.

Ive given this place several chances for a good review. I still cant give one! My friend was moving away and decided to have his going away party at Enclave. I decided that i wasnt going to drink that much and didnt want to chip in for the bottles like they were going to. I rsvpd for free cover before 11 thru a website. Let me explain clearly that the bouncers PURPOSELY make you wait outside until after eleven because they want you to pay the cover. My boyfriend and I got there at 10:15. We were the only people in line at the time. It was raining sleet outside. We waited until 11:15 and they told us our RSVP was no good anymore.Luckily at that moment my friend pulled up and we got to go thru the back entrance because he was buying several bottles. Im begging you, dont waste your time or money... there are several clubs down the street that will take your money with a smile.
Pros: What Pros?
Cons: RSVP cons at the door, RUDE bouncers, bartenders will rip you off.

I actually like Enclave but was just reading these reviews to see what people write here. If someone doesn't like the place, I could care less. What I do find funny is that some self-proclaimed "hitter" writes a review on here to smear the place and just ends up looking like a complete fool. I would suggest eivis sit down and learn the subtle differences between: - their - there - they're You can place an object over "there". "There" are 7 days in a week. "They're" running a little late. "Their" club is called Enclave. I hope "they're" able to print money. Your big time friends must have a heart of gold to still hang out with someone like yourself. I suspect though that it was probably the owner of whatever construction company you work for that slummed it with you for the night.
Pros: It's a nice place, hot girls, lots of bathrooms
Cons: Meat-packs writing illiterate reviews of the place
