Surpassed all of my Expectations!!

Well, Shari didn't know but before I approached her establishment for a quote, I had visited and had over 3-5 quotes on a particular diamond ring I was looking for. By far she blew the competition out of the water, I was able to save $800-$900 on the ring I wanted.

However, when it came to her service, it was not only her selling me the ring I was looking for, but it was also her educating me and working with me in what I wanted to present to my wife of 15 years.

By far, the end product surpassed all of my expectations, she helped me look like I spent 3 times the amount that I actually did with the finished work they provided, and it was done just in time to present it as the Christmas gift my wife deserves.

I will continually recommend Shari & The Chicago Diamond and Jewelry Exchange to all of my friends, and the compliments on the ring also speak louder than the words I can share.

Way to go Shari!!

Fantastic Customer Service

I am the type of person that researches and researches before making a big purchase. CHIDEXX and the reviews did not disappoint.

CHIDEXX will work with you to create a unique piece of jewelry that fits your personality.

They will not try to up sell you, they would rather help you make an informed responsible decision and have what you have always dreamed of.

CHIDEXX also has prices that can't be beat!!!!!!!!

The shop is a little hard to find the first time, as it is down stairs, but once you are there it feels like a comfortable homey atmosphere. There is no pressure, just comfort. By the time you are done you are excited about your purchase, not worried you spent too much.

Oh and my ring is stunning. She knew what I wanted from talking on the phone with me, amazing!

Still Getting Compliments!!

In 1996, we were looking for an engagement ring. We had been to all the name stores, coming out feeling uninspired and rushed. One day, I stumbled into Shari's store back on Wabash called Studio C. She spent an hour educating me to the angles of diamonds. What I found out that day was that the most cost effective way and the most fun is to pick your own diamond! I brought Ben back to the store and our journey began.

We looked at many stones finding out that 3 stones with the same specs could look totally different! When we had the stone, I gave Shari 3 adjectives to describe the design we wanted and she made THE MOST beautiful, unique and personal ring I could ever imagined! She then made Ben's ring and again it is a piece unique to us. I still get compliments ALL the time.

Going into the store to clean my ring or to visit is a visit to a friend!

It is a personal experience with Shari and one that you'll store with all the wonderful memories of your day, not to mention, it's a blast!!!

Chicago Diamond & Jewelry Exchange & Bjeweled

I discovered the Chicago Diamond & Jewelry Exchange(CHIDEXX) while doing research on loose diamonds for my girlfriend's engagement ring. I compared retail stores, the diamond wholesalers on Jewelers Row, and internet sites such as bluenile. Just based on price alone, CHIDEXX beat them all! Once I found the diamond I liked online, I sent an email and received a prompt response from Shari/Kevin(the owners). I set up an appointment and was told that she would bring in that diamond and others of similiar quality for me to choose from. I arrived and was shown a variety of diamonds that fit within my budget. Shari and Kevin were very helpful and attentive and helped me stay on target with my budget. I know that I got the best bang for the buck when it comes to the center stone I selected.

That leads me to the other great thing about CHIDEXX...the customer service! They did not try to upsell me or anything. They wanted to educate me on diamonds and make me feel extra comfortable with the third largest single purchase I will likely ever make. Kevin is great at making you feel comfortable and offers cocktails during the buying process. So I had the diamond and was contemplating buying the setting from a retailer and having them set the stone. That's when I discovered BJeweled, the design business that is a part of CHIDEXX. This is Shari's specialty and she can create your heart's desire and the price is still better than anywhere else. I was able to get my setting created in platinum for less than everyone else was charging for white gold. Another plus is that you can have a completely custom piece of jewelry.

The completed version of the engagement ring was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we discussed and when I proposed to my girlfriend she was speechless. The quality/workmanship is fantastic!

My fiance and I will be going back to get our wedding bands made. I would recommend anyone looking for jewelry to start with CHIDEXX and Bjeweled! You will not regret it.

Bjeweled

My fiance and I learned about Bjeweled through a referral from my sister and her husband. Shari is an AMAZING designer and truly an expert in her field.

The vibe is super friendly, professional and relaxed. Shari and Kevin are a great team and make you feel like old friends immediately, something my fiance and I truly appreciate in contrast to big name jewelers. We loved that they knew our names and took the time to learn about us personally. This made for an engagement ring that was exactly what we wanted and one of a kind.

The prices were fantastic and the product was certainly way above our standards.

We HIGHLY recommend Bjeweled (Shari & Kevin)! You will no doubt feel right at home and well taken care of.
