The Scene
Nobody really expects Paris Hilton to walk through the door, but owner and Detroit native Paul Blair's first foray into the Chicago club scene sets the bar high. The bright reds, oranges and yellows of the 20-panel graffiti painting near the entrance surrender to the warm glow of candles and sconces on the exposed-brick walls. Elegant, clean and minimalist, the space is surprisingly roomy and open for a corner bar, divided by modular table-and-cube seating arrangements in the front and back, and a small 15-stool bar in the middle.

The Draw
Seamlessly spun hip-hop and R&B form the perfect backdrop for socializing among the sharply dressed, attractive crowd. Libations include everything from Cristal to refreshingly unpretentious choices like Hamms and Pabst Blue Ribbon, with a menu of 50 bottled beers. Snazzy small plates include tuna and salmon seviche and pulled pork taquitos.
