Crowds of couples, teenagers and parents with toddlers press up against the long refrigerated display case at this dessert chain, where a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and sorbets are made in-store daily. Customers choose flavors like sweet cream, cake batter or banana, add mix-ins--ranging from candy bar chunks and Gummi bears to hot fudge and peanut butter--then servers mash it all together on a frozen slab of granite.

What a treat!. The person behind the counter was welcoming and conversational, offered suggestions...great when confronted with so many choices. The ice cream is flavorful, rich and velvety. The many accompanyments and toppings tempt one's creativity; however the ice cream alone is more than satisfying. Even as a calorie counter, this is my way of treating myself once in a while. A satisfaction-assured alternative to ordering dessert when dining out nearby.

Bob's favorite shop. I love the chocolate devotion. The employees at this store are always fun and entertaining.
