Come for a pint, stay cuz the atmosphere. Decent tap collection. Not douchey compared to other places in Wicker Park.
nice spot. this places rocks.. nice crowd great beers and drinks!! awesome mytouchtones jukebox
they could do better. A neighborhood spot. Not impressed with service. Food is slow to come out. Servers are yound and not really into it. Like the concept but not impressed.
Great for Private Parties!. I've been to and thrown a few parties at Pint and love it! They have a separate room with couches, a fireplace, and another bar just for the party. Bar parties or All you can drink parties can easily turn out disastrous, but it has always been great at Pint.
Good Sunday brunch.
Original ambience. Good spot. I don't know how it is at night but my brother and I had good food, good service at a cozy table w/ the TV next to us. I guess it depends if you want a flat screen TV next to you or not.
The Pint special eggs benedict was good. The brunch menu had good variety. I wasn't disappointed and I'll have to come back and try the rest.
Sluttiest Spot in Town. I came in around 8 pm on a Friday night. It took a long time before someone even looked at us. Then a busboy asked us if anyone helped us, we said no. Fifteen minutes later, a bored looking waitress who seemed more interested in her text messaging than she was in helping us, came over. Our quesadillas were cold, and the drinks were lackluster. I don't recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal with halfway decent service.
Great Atmosphere. I love this place. I go there after work when it isnt too crowded and order their Turkey Club, it's fantastic! They use chipotle mayo and cheddar cheese adding their own flavor. I love the atmosphere most of all, nice bar tables and booths each with their own TV. The aps are pretty good and their bottled beer selection is above par. I probably go there once every two weeks and always leave satisfied.
A neighborhood pub rounds out the eclectic mix of Wicker Park destinations..
In Short
The portrait of JFK above the door and lilting bar staff accents aside, the appeal is simple: reasonably-priced drinks and food. The dark woods, chandeliers, built-in bookcases and lofted second floor say old-fashioned tavern, even Victorian library, while the flat-panel TV screens at every four top are a decidedly modern touch. Draft choices include Dab, Carlsberg and PBR; the larger-than-average menu features a healthy selection of salads.
