“now, its cheesy, lacks decor and they even have huge flat screen televisions that constantly show McDonald's commercials.”
“The Rock 'N Roll McDonalds is a fun and great place to drop by!”
“Comfortable and expensive seating is also implemented.”
Not so rock n' roll anymore.....
We went here the other night to check it out after taking a tour around the city. I admit, it is HUGE and I've never been to a McDonald's that had an escalator to the second floor.
I was here a few years ago before they remodeled and it looked like a rock 'n roll McDonalds...now, its cheesy, lacks decor and they even have huge flat screen televisions that constantly show McDonald's commercials...bit of an overkill, you're already there eating!
We had a homeless man come up to our table and harass us for money even after we told him we had enough for our snack...the man continued to ask us for $$ even after we told him numerous times to go away!
We finally got loud with him and found a crew member who just blew us off and walked away after we told him what happened. What really got us was after we informed staff member, the same homeless man went up to another group of women and started harassing them, while a SUPERVISOR walked by and didn't say a word!
Yes, its a cheap eat downtown and it is 24 hrs....but considering the other things we dealt with, so not worth it, save the trip inside, use the drive thru!!!
Burgers, sandwiches, Happy Meals and all things fried and grilled draw families and fans to the world-famous Golden Arches..
In Short
The intoxicating smell of golden fries cooked to crispy perfection and succulent burgers sizzling on the grill permeates the space, while a lively chatting and munching crowd maintains a laidback vibe at this famous fast food haunt. Hungry patrons of all ages and walks of life order classic favorites like the Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, and the Filet-O-Fish sandwich. As for breakfast (it is the most important meal of the day, after all), this drive-thru king offers both sweet and savory morning meals like the Egg McMuffin and Hotcakes, as well as flavored iced coffees for a much needed java jolt.
High class McDonalds?. McDonalds is not exactly the best place to eat. But when it comes to this McDonalds, your visit may rather be more sweet. There are two levels of seating. Memorabilia furnishes this location. Comfortable and expensive seating is also implemented. The Rock 'N Roll McDonalds is a fun and great place to drop by!
A heavy dose of glitz dresses up this flagship McAttraction..
In Short
Those famous golden arches and a modern glass facade announce this flagship store in River North. Gone is the expected interior; in its place is a bi-level museum where patrons can eat their burgers and fries upstairs on Barcelona chairs under expensive Italian lighting. Other surprises include a coffee bar serving lattes, gelato and biscotti and lounges that pay homage via music and decor to every decade the chain has been in business.
