FOOD POISONED!. WARNING!!!! I became violently ill after eating sesame chicken at Kite Mandarin and ended up in the ER. I called to inform them of this and they hung up on me.

Enjoy Their Cuisine. I carry out from here on the way back from work every now and then. It's great if I want sushi or chinese food. My favorites are chicken in lettuce cups and eggplant in garlic sauce since you can't find them in other places. The sushi is very delicious too, and the staff is super nice. I like the ambiance, but just a little more light would be great.

Disappointed. I seriously never write reviews on restaurants because I just don't have the time, but this time it was so bad I had to write one. Kite's food was not only not very good but also pretty expensive compared to other places we usually order from. The sesame chicken was basically little pieces of chicken (not sure what type) fried in a bright red sauce (I am scared to know what was in it that made it bright red), the other dishes we got basically gave us all indigestion. We order out A LOT and know good asian food, and this was definitely not good. I do not recommend this place.

Definitely the best food for the price, and then some!. Excellent food, definitely not the best ever, but probably the best food for the money bar none.... Service is always good, and somehow this hidden gem hasn't drawn a crowd yet. As stated in other reviews, never a wait for a table.

Sushi is definitely good here, and the moo-shu pork is delicious!

Great No-Frills Sushi. This place is always consistent with value priced, nice sized Maki. Indoor and outdoor seating avalable and never too busy. The staff is always pleasant and prompt.

Stylish B.Y.O.B. restaurant on Lincoln Avenue serves a mix of Japanese and Mandarin cuisine.. In Short
Gray walls and dark wood chairs creates a stylish setting for diners from the neighborhood. The menu features Chinese and Japanese selections as well as several sushi rolls and pieces. Mandarin specialties include Hunan noodles, Mongolian beef and moo shu wraps with shrimp, chicken, pork and vegetable options. From the Japanese side, there's chicken, beef and salmon teriyaki, tempura and soba and udon noodles. Sushi can be ordered a la carte, or in combinations.

Great sushi, reasonbly priced, never crowded. I've been to Kite several times on Friday or Saturday nights and have never waited for a seat. It's never crowded. I'm not sure why it doesn't draw a big crowd, I guess it's not trendy enough. But the sushi is good (especially the double tuna roll), the Mai Tais are AWESOME and it's pretty reasonably priced. It's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's pretty good. Don't forget to finish off with the Muchi ice cream. Yum.

User review by somanycakes. I also have become a regular customer since Kite moved into the neightborhood. The sushi is great, and the service is top notch. They easily made accomodations for our large group, and there is a cute little outdoor seating area for nice nights.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Since Kite has moved into the neigborhood earlier this year, my girlfriend and I have become regular customers because of the food, atmosphere and service. I have tried most of the items on the menu and haven't found anything I didn't like with sushi being an added bonus. The two owners of the restaurant are always very friendly and make sure to stop by and chat at our table. Delivery and take-out are always quick.
