ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!. I can not say enough about Tails In The City and Phillip. We are on vacation in Key West and unexpectedly decided to get a puppy. I researched bags to fly her back with us and wanted something discreet that looked more like a purse than a dog carrier. Since I needed the bag to arrive in 3 days, I was in a hurry to place the order and have it FedExed to us.

I contacted three people. One was a boutique in CA that had the worst customer service, they would not answer their phone and only delt through email, which they were not prompt to respond. After two emails, they wanted to charge me an additional $150+ to overnight it. The other boutique never even responded to me. I called Tails In The City and Phillip answered the phone.

He was extraordinary. He not only steered me away from a bag that looked cute online but in reality wouldn't have suited our new dog, he recommended the perfect bag. He was out of stock on another bag but is acquring it for me. Phillip had our bag wrapped, packaged and shipped within hours. We received it at our hotel in Key West less than 24 hours from when we spoke with him on the phone.

Although there are many pet boutiques near us, Phillip and Tails In The City will remain our first choice because of the amazing customer service, product knowledge, vast selection and overall elite experience. We will even divert a trip this summer into the Chicago area to the boutique just to introduce him to our new puppy and buy lots of great stuff! We can not thank him enough for helping us bring our new baby girl home in style and comfort. We are fans for life and will recommend him to everyone that we meet.

Best Place in Chicago for Pups!. If you love your pups and they are the most important people in your life then you have to visit tails in the city. I didnt see Oprah or Carrie Underwood there when we went but the owners were very nice and polite.

We didnt want to spend hundreds but we did spend about $115 or gifts and items for our three pets and my mothers dog.

I would have liked more clothes that said Chicago, etc. but they had very nice dog collars and toys.

It is a boutique and there are some pricey things, but we also got a few things from the sale bin!

customer service needs attention. My friends and I were shopping for our pets in different pet boutiques in the Chicago area. We live in an area with no pet boutiques and shop for our pets mostly online. We were so excited to shop at some boutiques in the area and check out all the things they have to offer. We love to pamper our pets and buy them nice things. Our experience at tails in the city was horrible. We were treated very rudely by one of the store clerks. They definitely need some practice in the area of customer service and satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you love first rate customer service. Macy's is a much better store with more variety and customers are treated in a professional manner.

SO CHIC! SO INNOVATIVE! FIVE STARS ***** !!. Ultra fun and knowledgable staff, very caring and accommodating owners and the finest line of upscale apparel and other items for sale this side of the Mississippi! THIS PLACE JUST ROCKS! If you want QUALITY items - this is the store for you! I bought so much I couldn't stop myself! They had the most adorable, chic carrier on wheels that my little Marshall climbed into at the store and wouldn't get out of... I couldn't believe the owner was rocking him back and forth in the unit while "mommy" was choosing from the hundreds of top notch collars, toys and all natural, healthy treats they have to choose from! I won't shop anywhere else from now on! If my babies loved it - so do I! Really outstanding store!

Philip and Bruce are wonderful. Our cockapoo Charlie goes to Tails in the City all the time - we love the owners and they carry a great selection of coats, sweaters, treats, and toys.

Absolutely Stunning!. The men at Tails in the City will outfit your pooch to make him/her look like a movie star! Their product selection and quality of products is by far the best in the city. I live in Lincoln Park and a trip to Tails in the City is worth the drive. They are so nice and helpful! I needed a recommendation for a place to board my dog and they new exactly where to send me. I cannot say enough about this place. It is FABULOUS!

Best Pet Store In Chicago!. Tails in the City is a great place for unique gifts to pamper my pet. They also have tons of great events all year long. We went to the annual Halloween Pet Parade in October and had the best time picking out a costume and hanging out with hundreds of other dogs. If you have a dog you definitely need to check out Tails in the City!
