The Scene – Dangling lamps and orange globe lights illuminate this spacious bowling alley that's become popular with tourists and young professionals. Flat-screens and a marquee with scrolling sports scores greet visitors behind a front bar to the left, while red-felted pool tables and a separate wine bar to the right offer other distractions. Thanks to its elevated location in the back, the bowling alley is remarkably quiet, with TV clips of classic movies and old-school bowling scenes running on a loop at the end of each lane. – – The Draw – An oasis of hipness in a…

I hang out at the lucky strike in miami every once in a while and love it. was in chicago recently and checked this one out, and was impressed that this one lived up! the atmosphere is great, and the drinks and food are good. it's a great place to take a group of friends for a fun evening out.

I like Lucky Strikes!
by ChelReviews
my boyfriend and I visited Chicago last month. After seeing a movie, we seen Lucky Strike. I remember one opened near our house in washington. i figured we'd check it out and see what it was all about. i actually liked it. we went at night. there were no kids runnig around, which was a plus for me!
we were able to bowl, eat and actally enjoy our food. I didn't drink, but my boyfriend had a few beers. he was happy to be able to watch the game on the large screen too!
the young ladies (at the door and our waitress) were attentive to us, making sure to ask us of we needed anything. my boyfriend dropped a his first beer on the floor, and someone rushed over to clean it up. they also gave him another beer on the house.
maybe its because i was a tourist, but i liked Lucky Strikes enough to try the one back home when I returned as well!
- Pros: service, good environment
Lucky Strikes - Expectations Too High!!!
by GoldenAsh
I like Lucky Strikes, and was really enthusiastic to have a birthday celebration there. I love the mature adults the venue attracts and especially accepts after a certain hour (I think 9pm). It's a good way to meet people. vibe, chill, and involve yourself in bowling, pool, the bar, or the restaurant. And the great part is that the movie theater is one floor above. However, they overcharge people. Just for holding a lane, renting shoes, and playing a game of bowling was at least $100 if not below. It was a nice thought...but my friends and I ended up walking out.
