Absolutely Horrible. This location is in the same building as my gym and they were holding a contest so I entered on a whim. I got a phone call a few days later telling me I had won a $300 credit, $400 if I came in on a certain day (strange, right?) After getting a call to confirm my meeting with the manager I was really excited. I showed up about 10 minutes early for my appointment. Everyone seemed nice, but the waiting room is too small so my friend and I had to wait in the back hall. My appointment was for 6:00 pm and I wasn't taken back into a room until 6:40 after I had asked 2 times how much longer I would have to wait. I didn't even meet with the manager, she was too busy chatting with other customers and answering the phone so my "consultation" was with a technician. Nothing was explained to me about the procedure, no skin analysis, no introductions, she immediately began with pricing. When we discussed my budget she was very unforgiving when I explained that my pockets are a little tight right now. When I finally decided on a treatment I thought I would be able to finance it like everything else but she told me that it "wasn't that much money". I found it totally inappropriate for this technician to be making judgments about how I should spend my money. I felt embarrassed and incredibly harassed. I was so disappointed. This company is a joke. No apology for making me wait nearly an hour, no proper consultation for something that is considered a medical procedure. ALL THEY WANTED WAS MY MONEY. I left without setting anything up, and now my credit has gone down $100. This is absurd. Please, go elsewhere!

No one knows anything here!. I have been going here for over two years for laser hair removal, and have seen zero results. It is like pulling teeth trying to do anything: schedule an appointment, be seen on time for an appointment, have questions answered. There is never a manager there, all questions are met with "Well I'll have the manager call y ou." And of course I never hear from a manager. I thought maybe this office (Lincoln Park) was the only one staffed with inconsiderate techs, so I tried going to the Highland Park office. That turned out to be no better - now I'm back to Lincoln Park. I only continue to go in the hopes that SOMETHING will end up working (and I've already paid the money of course). If you're considering using ALC, DO NOT! Save your money and your sanity!

Awful Customer Service (Water Tower Location). I'm very disappointed that after 12 laser treatments, I have seen no results. But I am more disappointed that the service has gotten so bad. The receptionists (it's never the same one and they're just rude) barely acknowledges me when I come in. The technicians (who probably have no real training) don't say anything but "sign here" and "would you like to schedule your next appointment". I have never seen a doctor in the office. When I call (during business hours, no less) I get the answering machine. They can't have a high volume of calls EVERY time. It's ridiculous!

ALC customers pay a pretty penny for these services, they should be treated with the respect and attention they deserve!

an office run by incompetents. Rarely have I experienced such poor service as I did here and a staff so genuinely unconcerned with customer satisfaction. Of 6 appointments, I had three either cancelled of wronlgy scheduled, so that in one instance I had to come back multiple times for one treatment. They make no effort whatsoever and the staff is changing constantly so there is never anyone with any authority to complain to. After one mis-scheduled appointment, I was guaranteed that it would never happen agin. The very nexy week, when I went in for the re-schedulued appointment, they had again made a mistake and not scheudled enough time. Go someplace else.
