In Short – Food comes countrified at this counter-service eatery at the northern edge of West Town. The look is rustic, too, with wooden tables topped by blue- and white-checked linens, photos of chickens and old farm tools. The 32-seat space features dishes like gumbo, smoked pulled pork and rotisserie chicken along with sides such as macaroni and cheese, hand-cut fries and collard greens.
A miserable brunch . . .

I had high hopes for Feed. We went there for brunch today on a friend's recommendation. The food was awful. I have to believe the cook made a mistake, or was cooking for the first time, because neither of us could eat anything. I had the fried green tomato benedict and my friend had the pulled pork hash. Everything tasted like it was coated in an awful kind of grease and had a very strange flavor that made us both feel sick. We left nearly all our food on our plates, but no one asked if everything was ok. They also only had one server on for Sunday brunch and he said it was his first day. Had to ask for cream, butter, etc.
- Pros: Atmosphere, menu, price
- Cons: Food, service
better quality silverware would be nice

This wonderful restaurant building has been owned by the same Greek family for over 100 years in the same location. The food is wonderful, service is above the top friendly. I highly recommend the Wednesday nite spaghetti with salad and garlic bread with sweet tea that even my southern friends from Atlanta loved. Great portions and cute homey decor,,,,,,, I cant wait to go back
- Pros: The spaghetti was very old school nice thick meaty sauce just like Mom makes..... mmm
- Cons: Wish it was open 24 hours or space upstairs taken over for more seating

WE eat at Feed almost once a week. It is consistantly wonderful. Great food and atmosphere. Best corn pudding I've ever had and fantastic sweet potato fires. I could think of anything bad to say about this lovely restaurant ran by lovely ladies with fantastic food.
