Landmark Grill & Lounge

The Ideal Location For Your Next Private Event

Landmark Grill & Lounge is an amazing 10,000 square foot restaurant designed by world famous architect Warren Ashworth. Executive Chef Benajamin Browning works closely with local farmers to make sure his seasonal menus are filled with the freshest ingredients possible.

Landmark was named Best New Restaurants 2006 by Chicago Magazine, AOL, and Sherman Kaplan. Metromix called Landmark, "Lincoln Park's place for noshing and mingling." Fodors says "Landmark lives up to its name," and Zagat said, "The Boka Boys have done it again."

Landmark is just steps away from the Steppenwolf and the Royal George theatres, making it a perfect location for before or after the theatre.

Multiple rooms are Available for private parties or VIP lounging. We are an ideal location for your next private event, whether it be 12 or 500 people.

Editorial Review for Landmark Grill & Lounge – by Fred Schlatter

The Scene
The recessed entrance to this theater-district restaurant is marked by luminous blue signage, with a foyer clad in faux zebra hide. The first-floor bar area is flanked by booths upholstered in vinyl and a soaring opening revealing dual cat-walks. Linen-clad tables dot the downstairs dining room, and the upstairs dining rooms features cushy leopard print chairs, turquoise tables, unfinished wood, Persian rugs add other eclectic touches.

The Food
Boka's head chef handles the kitchen, favoring updated classic American flavors. Start with house-made sausages alongside re-hydrated fruits and sauerkraut, or any one of the familiar salads like classic Caesar or beets with spicy pecans, goat cheese and pickled cipollini onions. Entrees showcase meats and seafood with sensible sides: a thick roasted pork chop benefits from savory fennel gratin, and pan-seared halibut sits on succotash. Barbecue items, house specialties, include brisket, ribs and free-range chicken--all served with spicy slaw and baked beans.

Insider Tips

What to Drink

A specialty cocktail list features old favorites like a potent cosmo made with Orange Grey Goose, and refreshing non-martini options like the Bellini---equal parts Prosseco and peach puree.

When to Go

Avoid weekend nights for dinner when the large space fills with enthusiastic bar patrons.

Where to Sit

Either cat walk offers terrific bird's-eye people-watching. Space, however, is limited, and coveted when busy.

Where to start... What an amazing dining experience! From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. The entire staff made us feel as if we had been dining there for years and were their favorite patrons. The food was outstanding and the ambiance was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next dining experience at Landmark Grill & Lounge!
