In Short – This "lifestyle boutique" blends retail with sophisticated eats for lunch and dinner. Shoppers can browse the racks for designers like Free People, Zooey and Robert Graham and then retire to the restaurant for entrees like rack of lamb with dijon herb crust or stuffed baked tilapia with artichokes, crab, pecan and mushroom risotto. In addition to clothing, the shelves are stocked with jewelry, handbags and perfume.
ugh...not her again...

I have a friend who worked at Flight with the Chef (who seems to write her own reviews all the time), we were shocked to see her here. She's been canned at place after place for being a miserable person to be around. The staff gets screamed at, they know she's nuts, and basically ruins the feel of a nice place. You can feel her bad karma a mile away. The food's OK, the bread puddings good (a little heavy though) but nothing to write about here. I'll be back when this restaurant realizes what other places have...
- Pros: OK food in a nice environment
- Cons: A crazy chef
Hinsdale has terrible restaurants.

Embrace has food that is respectable, but far from resplendant. Zak's Place too is very ordinary.
I would personally like a REAL RESTAURANT like Tallgrass in Hinsdale. Tallgrass is truly excellent.
By the way the manager at Embrace is a condescending, self-loating, rude idiot. And Zak at Zak's place is a sycohophantic fool, who thinks greeting every one at the door will make his restaurnant great... i don't think so.. first get a chef who has some creativity and veratility in the kitchen.
Hinsdale is a dining nightmare!
- Pros: mediocre food
- Cons: rude manage (male)
Brace yourself if you meet Chef Maya...for the worse!
by foodieforyou at Citysearch
I was shocked to see that someone has made the mistake of bringing this chef to their establishment. I met Chef Maya at one of her previous places of employment (which are many) and made one comment about my meal, only to be berrated and embarrassed in front of my quests.
Chef Maya is arrogant and condascending. Qualities that are not justified by her cooking abilities.
Buyer Beware!
