Really happy with cleaning. For our empty rental unit: Rosa and Veronica did an absolutely wonderful job – every stain in the carpet is gone! They arrived early and finished on time. The apartment just shines!
Unhelpful maids. I am a lawyer who wanted his place clean. I called this company after reading their reviews online. They sent me a maid who did not understand English and could not follow my directions. I clearly told her not to clean my office. Guess what? Half an hour into the appointment I found her spraying Windex on my files. It was very disturbing for me to end up drying my own documents with a paper towel. I found the maid unhelpful due to the fact that neither the maid nor I could communicate with each other.
Horrible company. Horrible service.. I hate this company. My first experience with them was horrible. They sent me a maid who was really rude, had an attitude, and did not clean what I asked her to clean. My credit card was overcharged, and the maid left my house earlier than what she was supposed to. I do not recommend this company.
5***** Star Maid Services.. That's Right. I am giving them 5 stars. I ordered 3 maids for 2.5 hours to clean my 4 bedroom 4 bath, 3 level house with about 2800 sq ft. They attacked the and finished The maids are wonderful at cleaning and the young lady that took my order answered all my questions. I really liked the prepay special, buy 5 get 1 free. Now were can get deal like that for my mortgage?
Reasonable Prices and great service..
I used their service twice and have had no problems so far. The main problem I had with my last service was that they would not get my instructions correctly. I personally can schedule my appointment online with my specific instructions on the note section. I found this to be much more efficient for me rather then calling and explaining to someone what I want and hoping they noted everything correctly. Like I said great cleaning staff for reasonable prices. Thanx
Very Accommodating and Good. I had scheduled a move in cleaning of my new home. But when the crew arrived, the pipes in my home were frozen and I ask Little Helpers to return when I fix the pipes. They were very accommodating with re-scheduling my appointment and they didn't charge a fee. I felt so bad that the crew came all this way, just to have to go back and then come back out. When they came back out they did a wonderful job in cleaning the house. Thank you.
Great Detail...Poor Time Management...Expensive...Won't Use Again.
We booked the 2-Person, 3-Hour Standard Cleaning for our 2,200 Sq. Ft. condo. We made sure The Little Helpers had all this information when we booked online.
Our two people showed up on-time with all of their supplies. They got right to work on the bedrooms and baths. I was impressed with the level of detail they were going to. We have had people in here before and had never seen them move items to vacuum or scrub our bathrooms the way these two did. We were very excited! That was the first two hours. Only 1/3 of the house was done, which left the den, TV room, kitchen, dining, guest bathroom and living room. The last hour, they rushed to get the remaining 2/3rds done...you can imagine what that looked like. Some shelves were not dusted, the kitchen, 1/2 Bath and TV Room were left untouched. Very disappointing.
We asked if they could stay longer, but their ride had arrived and they needed to go. So, we were left with a house only 2/3rds done (I'm being generous) with a dinner party that night. All of our public areas were either not touched or done too quickly. Like I said, we have had people in here to clean before. Two people in 3 hours has been enough to not only clean our house satisfactorily, but also to do dishes and fold laundry...things the Little Helpers could not get to.
Here is my bottom line. Whether you do my whole house only half way or 1/2 my house 100%, you are still missing the mark. The first order of business for people cleaning a home is to walk in and assess the size, number of rooms, etc. and plan your 3 hours accordingly. I paid to have my house cleaned and I did not get that. We tipped the two people because they did work hard...what they did clean was good. I did not pursue this with them directly. I know what they would do, come in and fix it. Great, but the test was the original appointment.
Due to the cost of this service and the similar problems others have had; I will not use The Little Helpers again.
Im still pleased. My husband and I are both professionals in the medical field and as such have little free time. I will not spend what little leisure time I have cleaning. We have used various maid services and none compare to Little Helpers. Before Dolly, who cleans for me and is wonderful Ii asked Little Helpers to kindly send a different person as I didn't feel the connection with the first lady). Dolly is a warm and friendly person and a very methodical cleaning professional. Whenever she has left my home, it has been CLEANED. As a regular customer, I have some contact with their office and find the office staff to be prompt, professional and friendly. They have rescheduled appointments for me a couple of times to accommodate our schedule. I seldom write reviews but when I do, it is because I have a very strong opinion ? good or bad. In this case I would give them a very good rating.
Not very helpful. We have had little helpers clean our house for over a year now. When they come they do a pretty good job. They are easy to book online and send very competent individuals. We have run into issues with them, though, with scheduling. They have called our home at least three times on the day of service (or the day before) to cancel our appointment. The last straw was recently, when they called to cancel our appointment for new years eve. My husband and I were expecting 10 guests in our small home and were really counting on then to clean our place before the guests arrived. They called us the evening before our appointment to cancel (around 6PM). They had already sent email confirmation and we booked the appointment three months in advance. We both work full time and have a baby and were up until midnight cleaning. There are tons of cleaning services in chicago that charge as much money. Might as well hire one that comes when they say they will.
