The Scene – Seen from the street on this industrial stretch of Randolph, the two-story glass facade glows invitingly; inside, soaring ceilings and minimalist design create a sleek contemporary atmosphere. A blond wood divide separates the 30-foot bar from the narrow dining room where a banquette hugs the far wall and natural wood tables and chairs line the center. Upstairs, a lounge area accommodates diners and young see-and-be-seen types with low-slung couches and small round tables with stools. Conversation-friendly electronica provides the soundtrack. – – The Food –…
TERRIBLE...
by mhillgoth at Citysearch
My boyfriend spent a hefty amount of money to secure a seating area in the lounge upstairs for my birthday.
All was going well until my friend Bobby, a DJ, went on the turn tables to spin. He and his partner were hired to spin house for a couple hours. Without any explanation, a hot headed Nader jumped in the DJ area, pushed Bobby away from the dec and told him to pack up his records. Everyone noticed the scene b/c the music stopped so abruptly.
Bobby still has no idea why Nader caused the scene and kicked him out of the booth. Not being one to leave a friend behind, I took my party else where and left the bar as empty as it usually is.
Good luck Nader.

We were so excited to try this place. Meal was great, service was great (hot server), but we both had HORRIBLE loose bowel movements (this site does not allow the dreaded d-word) the next morning. Hummus or the lamb? Who knows---but definitely never again.
Bar vs Dining

Dinner was going well, until the smoke from the bar, right over the 8ft wall, started drifting into the dining area. I will probably not return until 2008 when smoking banned. Dining chairs very uncomfortable and since your dinner should take time, all you want to do is walk around after about 10 minutes sitting in these chairs.
