This bar used to have really good bar food when it was Thirsty McCarthy's. REALLY good bar food. When Thirsty McCarthy's left so did any character in the place and the good food. I would rate the food here as "It Won't Make You Sick" and "If You Are VERY Hungry, You Will Walk Away Thinking It Is OK". There is nothing unique here at all. Typical Bar Louie like menu that is very boring and anything that is unique is cooked by burger flippers, so there is nothing unique to the taste. All and all the bar has a feeling like a place that is owned or managed by lifelong bartenders who figured since they know how to make a drink and take inventory, they could open a bar. I'm sure it is run pretty well, it just isn't done by anyone with much vision or style. It's flat and dull. Oh, and walking up the suicide flight of stairs to use the bathrooms kind of stinks too.
Pros: Good Beer Garden in the Summer
Cons: A Place For Guys Who Wear Bad Jeans, Have Go-Tees, and Girls Who Gave Up Years Ago
