A Disappointment
by Misc26
The food here was definitely a disappointment. Our soups arrived cold, a third of the muscles we ordered were closed. The crab cakes were bland and chewy. Thank goodness the wine selection was excellent. As for the service, it was adequate, but slow.
- Cons: Food.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere

We've visited Dine a number of times now and it's been a great addition to the west loop. The food has always been terrific, with big portions and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for comfort food, they have a lot of choices but give the macaroni and cheese side a try. We've had nothing but attentive, fast service in a comfortable atmosphere. We'll be back soon.
- Pros: Comfort Food, Great Service
- Cons: None
Food was great -- Service was so-so
by dianfranc
Went to Dine for Easter brunch. The food and atmosphere were very good but the service left a LOT to be desired. We arrived to a hostess that appeared bored and annoyed that she had to check our reservation and show us to a table. Our waiter was extremely slow to bring beverages and responded to our requests by saying "when I get a minute." Remember, this was brunch -- he didn't have to serve and beverage service was about all he had to do. We had to wait so long for coffee to have with dessert that we flagged down a waiter from a different area who was so attentive to us after bringing our intiial request for coffee, that we slipped him an additional tip on the way out. The food was excellent, but we'd have to think twice about chancing the service when thinking about returning.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: Service
