In Short – This fine dining spot is no secret to the residents of Lake Point Tower; it anchors their building. Inside, custom-painted murals wrap the room, depicting scenes of laborers and children at play. Copper accents warm up the space, complementing tones of blue, brown, green, orange and yellow walls and upholstery. Earthy eats are flavorful and familiar, bursting with farm-fresh ingredients. A juicy Grilled Swan Creek Farm leg of lamb couples with fingerling potato salad and Michigan pears, while Illinois quail and Indiana chicken excite with sofrito, arugula, rapini, couscous and…
Truly one of Chicago's Best restaurants !

A definite must visit !!!
Great location, within the 2 minute walk from the Navy Pier. So don't settle for the typical tourist beer and burger joints at the pier and enjoy one of the best dining experiences that Chicago has to offer.
We had dinner there last night while waiting for the show at the Pier. The decor of the place was very pleasant. It was not "over the top" as I?ve seen in quite a few other places but just right. They don't try to lure you with the flashy decor and then serve you mediocre food.
In just about every restaurant, save few exceptions, i always end up get either a side dish, or appetizer, or even the main course that are, let?s just say less then thrilling. Much to my delight every single dish that we had at the Copperblue was just perfect. The portions were generous and chef's attention to fine details was stunning.
Couple of days ago we had dinner at what is considered by many critics to be Chicago's best restaurant - L2O. Of course i have to admit that no one can rival with L2O when it comes to dish presentation, but when it comes to taste - Copperblue has my vote!
A true gem and must visit for everyone looking for a great dining experience.
- Pros: incredible food, good locaton
- Cons: none
Amazing!!! Service, Food, Ambience...

My boyfriend and I were searching for a French restaurant in Chicago and came upon Copperblue; we are so happy we did! We made a later reservation midweek (8:30pm) and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the host answering the phone was. Upon arrival we were seated and met one of the owners (Chef Mich ael). We chose the 7 course Chef's choice sampler and were blown away! The food portions weresmall enough to try many and pushed the boundaries a bit on flavors that mixed perfectly together. All the way to the dessert and wine selection (which pairs perfectly with their menu) we were ecstatic! The service was formal but not hauty. By the end of the night we met both chef's/owners and are guaranteed to be regulars! This is a must try gem located just down by Navy Pier. Superior service and fabulous food!
- Pros: Food is pricey but well worth the money spent!
- Cons: The bench sits a bit high for the table (but comfortable)
