Anyone have contact info for Wally???. Does anyone have contact info for Wally? From the time that I purchased my wife's engagement ring in the fall of 2010 I thought that Wally was a great jeweler. That is up until about two months ago. I put a ring on consignment with Wally. He told me that he had sold it and that I would be getting the money in three to four weeks. I thought that was kind of strange, but he said that he was just waiting for final payment. The four weeks was up in late October or early November. Since then I have not been able to get in contact with him. I have a cell number that I have always used. Does anyone know if he has an office still? He used to be on Jewelers row, but he told me that he moved to the suburbs.…

I plan on going back for other jewelry as well. Wally is awesome. He went back and forth with me so many times until we found the perfect ring. He is open to any custom design. I went to the other jewelers and they couldn't come close to the price and quality Wally was offering.

Not only that, Wally stayed very late in the night a few times because it was the only time I could meet with him. You will receive extremely good service from him and from what I have been hearing from my fiance's close friends, an amazing ring.

I'm sorry to some of the people that say he took your money. Wally had my money a while before I got the ring and he did not make me think even once I was being scammed....Well, I should rephrase that..at first I thought I was being scammed because he was almost overly helpful, had a super sparkly ring, and was giving me a price no one could match....then I just realized that some things aren't too good to be true. HE DELIVERED ALL AROUND QUALITY!

I'm about to call him and see if he can design a nice diamond pendant for an Xmas gift, so I figured I should leave my thoughts up here. Hope this helps in your search.

Walter Krakowsky took our ~$15,000 diamond in consignment for several months. He avoided multiple attempts to contact him over that time and then eventually told us that he sold it in NYC and that the buyer never gave him the money. He claims that he has no money to pay us.

He has essentially stolen our diamond and refused to pay us. He is a criminal. We are pursuing legal action. Walter must be violating every ethical code that diamond dealers possess.

His business also goes by the name Elite Diamond Experts.

Fraud. Avoid at all cost.

I have consigned two pieces of jewelry to Wally to sell for me. He appeared to be working on them for some time and then I have never heard from him. After some time, I called him to find out what happened. He said that he sold the pieces without collecting the money and that he is not able to pay me back because the buyer is not paying back. This is of course completely unprofessional (who hands out 10000 work jewelry without receiving the payment).

I have filed a complaint at the BBB and he has not responded to that. His company used to be called Chicago Diamond Experts, may be he is hoping to run faster than the reputation can catch up. I am currently looking at lawyers to bring the case to the court.

Wally appears very nice and kind and tries everything to make sure that he earns your trust. But he is not professional (mildly put). I would not recommend anyone doing business with Wally.…
