Good atmosphere & food. We ate here after the restaurant we originally were going to was closed. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor dining area even though the table we sat at was a bit small for 3 people. The over-easy eggs and potatoes I had were delicious. The coffee was good, too, although being in a very large cup meant it cooled off a bit too quickly for me. One of my companions had a nice salad and enjoyed it. The portions were generous, but you paid for it with the higher prices. Our waiter was attentive. Yes, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

THE REAL DEAL. First time vsitor who had an wonderful expeience, made all the better by the OUTSTANDING sevice of both Ralph, the m'aitre d, and Jessie our server. Atmosphere was terrific, with many possibilities for wining and dining, and we were given the best , and only table in the house overlooking Madison Street, a real world Italian setting. Couldn't beat it anywhere in Chicago..and only room for a small table of 2. Food was out of this world, especially the crab cakes, gorgonzala pear salad, linguine with shrimp and broccolini, and mouth watering desserts that we didn't even get to. This was such a memorable experience that it is now at the head of the list. Check it out as a local favorite that has it all..inc. great breakfasts..tell them Rick sent you and say hi to Ralph... and "Nadine" his guitar..ciao bella and happy dining
