In Short – Warm, earthy colors create a relaxing atmosphere in this salon and spa constructed with mostly recycled and sustainable materials. Touches like comfy chairs in the waiting area, and plush, contemporary pedicure basins give the space an urban-chic feel. In addition to salon services, the spa offers manicures and pedicures, facials, massages, waxing and makeup application. Yoga classes are offered on Tuesday evenings.

Bad color from "mid-level stylist"

I booked my appointment with what I was told was a "mid-level" stylist. The all over color she gave me was blotchy and darker than I had asked for. I had to return to the salon to get it fixed but it only got worse. I had to have it fixed at my new salon for $500!

Not good.

Pros: location, neighborhood lacking nice salons
Cons: bad dye job!

fabulous color, friendly professional staff

Two years ago, I was a salon orphan - you know, when you've broken up with your stylist but haven't found a new home yet?

A friend recommended Maria and Salon Echo, and I've been a devoted client ever since. She has a tremendous talent and eye for color, and I always get compliments on mine. Everyone at the salon is very professional, I never have to wait more than a couple minutes, street parking is almost always available, and they have Aveda too. What's not to like?

Unsatisfied!!

Double booked my appointment (honest mistake??) but were really unfreindly about it. Doubt I will ever go back!

Services include single and double process colors, full and partial highlights, color enhancements and color correction.

Massage:

Offerings include relaxation massage and deep-tissue massage (30, 60 or 90 minutes); reiki massage (30 or 60 minutes); and the signature Aroma massage with steam (30 or 75 minutes). Body wrap with steam also is available.

Facials:

Options include an aroma facial, signature facial, high-profile facial, eye treatment, exfoliation treatment and a facial customized for clients under 16.

Hair Removal:

Waxing services include lip, chin, eyebrow, side of face, full face, bikini, French bikini, Brazilian, back, chest, full leg, half leg, full arm and underarm.
