LIED to and received POOR service with a bleach pach

I originally scheduled my appointment on Friday morning (08/13/2010), noticed that the stylist had plenty of openings for Saturday (08/14/2010) so I took the 4:00pm appointment as it fit my schedule. A couple of hours after scheduling my appointment I received a phone call asking if it would be ok for me to come in at 3:30pm instead of 4:00pm (was told that my appointment will require extra time). I altered my schedule for Saturday and agreed to come in 30 min before as requested. Saturday morning on the way to a memorial I received another phone call asking if I can come in at 3:00pm instead of 3:30pm…….at this point I was frustrated as the associate told me that there are too many clients scheduled for that day and that they are going to be extremely busy but they will understand if I can not come in early and the stylist will take care of me in-between and work it out. I informed the clerk that I can not promise but will do my best to get to the salon as soon as possible.

When I arrived at the salon I was the ONLY client there (so much for we are overbooked and need you to come in early)……..receptionist went back got the stylist . I was taken to the rear of the salon to stylists station (usually I get offered water, tea, coffee or some sort of beverage….but that did not happen this time). Stylist asked what service I am getting done (informed her that I want to match what I had which was done at the salon so they should have record of it……I had two tone highlights which you can clearly see). Right away she went to mix the bleach solution to do blonde highlights…….with my hair you can see that I have thin close to each other two tone highlights so few strands of my dark brown hair show…..my highlights were done soo fast then I was taken to the dryer which a sat at for quite some time under (still no beverage)……hair was checked on about 3 times then I was taken to the washing station. Usually I spend a couple of minutes with the toner on but this time it was on/off within a minute (if not less) …then taken back to station for my haircut. I asked for 2 inches off with multiple layers may hair was not cut as I asked all the stylist did was give me a QUICK (and I mean QUICK) trim. Dried my hair and called it a day! There was no is this short enough she just started to dry my hair in a hurry (granted I had nothing to do that day and did not need anything special but if I’m paying $135.00+ TIP I would like to expect great service). I have less highlights then my previous appointment and on the left side I have a thick yellow spot and can not put my hair up …..I would think that a SENIOR hair colorist/stylist would know how to highlight.

Once I checked out I had to wait for my husband to pick me up as he dropped me off at the salon because we were told to hurry due to client overload. I sat down 3-5 min and called him then we go there around 5:00 to pick me up……as soon as I left the door was locked and the girls were ready to go (while on the door it states that salon closes at 6:00pm). I feel horrible to complain but it makes me feel like a piece of trash knowing that I was LIED to and received POOR service with a patch of bleached out hair (I cant even wear my hair up).

Sent multiple e-mails to the salon and up to this day no response. Also filed a complaint with the BBB in Chicago. I have photos and lets not forget that the salon has security cameras and this whole experieince can be verified.

Expert Staff with terrific convenience

I had an emergency hair situation on a Sunday and found Jon'Ric online & made an appointment on the web with one of their senior stylists. She expertly fixd a bad home color mistake and gave me a terrific new cut which I get compliments on constantly. I understand they have certified Redken staff and Bumble educated stylists so they really value continuing education to ensure the staff knows exactly what to do for any situation. I was recommended to try a Bumble & Bumble shampoo & conditioner - and am hooked on the stuff. I'll be back to tray their terrific sounding spa services - great couple massages in a relaxing and beautiful environment are hard to find in the area. I definitely recommend - not only for the expert staff, but great convenience in scheduling and ease of parking.

Wonderful Salon with awesome Stylists

I have enjoyed being at Jon'Ric. Everyone at Jon'Ric is very wonderful and knows what they are doing from there product knowledge to your hair needs. I have had a great time working and recieving services from all the girl at Jon'Ric. They will be there for all of your beauty needs and wants. Please go and enjoy your time with them and get the ahhhh experience.

Best Product Line - Bumble&Bumble

I found Jon'Ric on Bumble's site because I'm hooked on teh products and they're the only salon in Naperville to carry them. I was even more ecstatic to see a grogeous place and fantastic stylists. I started going there now for my hair and LOVE the whole experience from the free hot tea to the great music and neck rubs.

Best Salon/Spa in West Suburbs!

They go out of their way to make the customer feel welcomed and respected. They have an array of remarkable services and cleanliness of the salon is valued, as well. Jon Ric is conveniently missing the pushy receptionist (Ceasar is gem), the piercing techno music, and the agonizing chaos you find in most high-end salon/spas.

The entire staff of Jon Ric of Naperville is a pleasure. Even though I highly recommend my stylist, Jennifer, the entire staff is incredibly trendy and more than capable of satisfying whatever you desire. I previously had the same stylist for over 11 years, and I'm sorry that I didn't make the switch sooner.

• Cons: Like most spa's - no cell phones allowed.
