In Short – This tucked-away stop cooks up the cuisine well familiar to the residents of the neighborhood: Ukranian. Diners fill up on stick-to-your-bones soup favorites like borscht, dill-seasoned chicken soup and cabbage with sauerkraut. Schnitzel, blintzes and potato pancakes are highlights of the restaurant's buffet, which is available for lunch and dinner.

We went there in midafternoon in July, 2005. A small bar with home cooking. We were the only ones there who order in English! Could be be Mom's--in Ukranian of course. We'll be back when we're in Chicago.
- Pros: atmosphere
