good home cooking (Ukranian) – We went there in midafternoon in July, 2005. A small bar with home cooking. We were the only ones there who order in English! Could be be Mom's--in Ukranian of course. We'll be back when we're in Chicago.
This restaurant's popular buffet serves comfort food Ukranian style. – In Short
This tucked-away stop cooks up the cuisine well familiar to the residents of the neighborhood: Ukranian. Diners fill up on stick-to-your-bones soup favorites like borscht, dill-seasoned chicken soup and cabbage with sauerkraut. Schnitzel, blintzes and potato pancakes are highlights of the restaurant's buffet, which is available for lunch and dinner.
