Beware of Selah Collections. My experience with Selah collection in woodfield mall was horrible. I got an expensive ladies handbag and was not given receipt; they told me that they are out of papers; what a silly reason (I found on my successive visits that they never issued receipts to anyone). I didnt quite like the handbag and went back to return after 2 days; carrying it (they hadnt packed it either). They told me that you cant return mechandise. You can exchange it though. I went back again to exchange after two days.. to exchange the handbag this time.. Now i was told in most rude behavior that we saw you carrying the other day (when i had come to return it) and cant exchange used mercahndise.. what the hell.. i trying to explain everything.. but they were so rude that i couldnt talk much.. i recommend everyone to go to big malls like macy's etc in woodfield mall.. but never to these minnows.. i dont have words how disgusted i am with this..
taxed and taxed and taxed.
The prices at Woodfield are comparable. What makes everything so expensive is the city, county, state taxes and other surcharges. That's why the whole Woodfield area is so beautiful. You can shop online and get paid cash back without paying the taxes and surcharges. Build your own Online Mall for FREE.

Don't Go: Overinflated Prices!!.
I got cheated out of $45 at Woodfield Mall on an Ellington Messenger bag which they overinflated the price and then had a "sale". When I got home I checked the bag online. I paid more for the "sale" price than the original price listed for the bag online.
Woodfield is waaaaay overpriced!!
good mall.
"I can't understand why everyone thinks this mall is so great. It's alright, but it's nothing special. I guess maybe it's because I am from the east coast originally and we have way bigger shopping centers there. I'm not that thrilled, but I will go back because there's not many other places to go."
What are you talking about? Woodfield is the 8th largest mall in the US. There are not "way bigger" malls on the East Coast. If you can't find something else to do in the Chicago area, then you have another problem. Woodfield has big crowds around holidays, and its actually decent on weekends. The mall is too big, you will get tired of walking.
Woodfield Mall is way overrated. If you like long lines and super prices, this place is for you........ Otherwise stay away, everyone says how great it is, but in all reality smaller malls have all the same things and are more accessable and less crowded.
Its okay. I can't understand why everyone thinks this mall is so great. It's alright, but it's nothing special. The biggest shopping center in the Chicago area..
In Short
In 1975 Woodfield was the world's largest shopping center, but since then the title has been surrendered. Today, approximately 26 million people visit each year to shop at some of the biggest department store chains in the country--Nordstrom, Sears, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor and Marshall Field's. The five anchor stores are surrounded by 285 specialty shops and boutiques. In addition, there are art galleries, jewelry dealers, shoe salons, booksellers and sports stores.
It's a good mall. You'll get what you expect from this mall. It's very nice, has all the great stores, and good places to eat. Getting in and out is horrible - especially during holidays and weekends. Plan to be there when the doors open and you'll be much better off.
** Simply the BEST **. Simply the BEST.......Great restaurants. Great shops. Easy access. Superior mall!
