I will be filling an Insurance Fraud case against Dermuss. I checnged to Dermuss becasue it was closer to my house. I went in for a wart removal on my hand. I have had this before, it was a $25 copay. She took a biopsy of the wart, but never even removed it with nitrogen. I got a bill for a Level 4 pathology biopsy since she had it tested for cancer. Everyone knows that this was just a wart and not something she couldn't tell what is was - being a Dermotologoist. I got a bill for $314 and she billed my insurance carrier $510. I was screamed at by her office manager for questioning the bill, she just kepot yelling "THIS IS YOUr bill, pay your bill". thIS IS EXTREMEMLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON TOP OF INSURANCE FRAUD. I It seems like insurance fraud must happen there a lot for a customer to get yelled at after asking the first question for my first visit, on the first phone call to them. The one good rating listed here seems false, as if the office wrote it. If Dr. Shah and here collection agaeny TRANSWORLD again fails to answer my 3rd letter to them in 6 months trying to clear this up, I will be filing a BBB report, writing a siliar review on the Doctor's section of Angie's List, alerting Blue Cross Blue Shield for Insurance Fraud, and ask my attorney if I have a case for mental stree aND PUNATIVE DAMAGES SINCE THIS HAS UPSET ME SO MUCH.

I left crying :(. Do you ever leave somewhere with a pit in your stomach? This is the experience I had here. I was referred by a friend for my children's warts on their hands. I had appointments for 2 of my 3 children. When we entered the exam room, the nurse looked very annoyed that we were there. When my kids were talking, she kept "shushing" them (even though I was present). When the Doctor walked in, my one daughter was going to ask her a question and she walked up to her and said "Stop!". Wow. When my daughter had her wart burned off, she was crying very loudly because it hurt her. I asked the nurse if that was normal and she said "NO!" When my son had his warts treated, the Doctor talked down to me about his ezcema without asking what treatment I use. She simply told me I needed to "get on top of it!". Again - a slap in the face. I felt so embarassed, insulted, degraded and angry. I am a college educated professional (not that it matters), but it really is shocking. I would recommend to stay far away from this dermatologist. I love my own which is Advanced Dermatology in Lincolnshire.

Excellent!. I am a new patient. i came with shorts and a tanktop so she could see my skin. i checked out okay. i think the visit was pretty lighthearted. i found them all to enjoy being there. I was told to buy a cream but i didn't purchase it because of cost. i've read the other reviews, just because it's prescribed that doesn't mean you have to get it. it wont get better however. to the comment below, remember she is the one who went to med school. NOT you. If she says it's okay, it probably is.

Didn't get a thorough exam.... I've seen Dr. Shah twice, two years apart, for routine "mole screenings", because I have a family history of skin cancer and have had skin cancer myself (basal cell). On both visits, I felt Dr. Shah did a very cursory exam. After the first time this happened, I felt a little shell-shocked and decided that I'd be more forceful the next time. But I recently had the second exam, and was this time even more disappointed. For example, I was wearing jeans, and although she pulled up the bottom part of my jeans to examine my calves, she never saw the top of my legs! And what about the top of my head? Or my buttocks? When I go in for a comprehensive mole check, I expect all areas of my body to be examined, not just a few. All the while, she kept repeating that she "wasn't concerned at all". Well, it's not about HER being concerned! I'm the patient!

I won't be giving Dr. Shah another chance, I'm afraid. I've gotten the feeling she likes working a few hours a week and driving her little sports car...

findanotherdoctor. I had a bad experience with this Dr Shah-Sheth. The Dr. would not listen to my thoughts and ideas as to what the problem may be, and even after stating that I had concerns about steriod based creams, prescribed one for me. Then has you purchase these really expensive creams at the counter that you can buy at Walgreens for half the cost. I do NOT recommend this office for anyone needing a dermatologist.
