I went for one of their "specials". When I finished and was ready to pay, the price was 4 times the quoted cost. Kristi and Andrea up front were really playing innocent "Oh, I can't believe no one told you!". Yeah, right! They don't value customers and they are liars. Need I say more?

as an eastern european brunette, i finally decided to take the plunge on laser hair removal. it seemed half my life was spent shaving my legs and i was over it. i went to avanti and worked out a package that was right for me. i'm now beginning a new round of hair removal (on different areas), because the first produced such great results on my legs that i've become totally greedy. beyond the success of the actual treatment, the staff is extremely accommodating and friendly and provides recommendations without using any kind of pushy sales techniques. i've also done microdermabrasion there, which i love. it leaves my skin feeling baby-soft and depending on how diligent i am at home in the days and weeks following the procedure, the results are pretty long-lasting. overall i have had only positive experiences there and will definitely remain a regular customer.

- Cons: just watch your meters/time/side of street restrictions (cops will ticket)

Best Micro and Facials

I am not new to the whole skincare routine. I have had my share of microdermabrasions and facials throughout Chicagoland. I recently decided to check out Avanti Skin Center because I have walked by it many times and I am in the area and I must say I am in love! I received a facial just the other day and I feel as though I was truly educated about my skin concerns. I was treated as a VIP not just a sale or number. I was totally relaxed in their facial room and was not bothered at all about the occasional question or advice from the esthetician about my skin. I found it rather refreshing since, most estheticians do not say a word. My skin has never seen better days since I began going to Avanti. It gets quite busy on the weekend, so book in advance! Even though I want to keep my facialist and Avanti a secret, I had to share my experience.

- Cons: My facialist is only there on the weekends
