Great Food!. This place is probably the best hole in the wall mexican restaurant I have ever been too in the Chicago area. The steak and the Chicken Burritoes are amazing! The place is always busy so if you want to wait for some of the best food in Des Plaines it is well worth it.

Do not go. Bad quality of food and horrible service.. After going to this place a number of times, it seems each time I go I am more and more disapointed. Everytime I choose to go to Las Asadas, I come away dispointed with the service, food and the apparent lack of standards that a place that caters to the public should have. From the "cooks" manning the grill on their cell phones to the cashier not getting your order right, I'd rather spend my money someplace else.

I was there the other day, and what seemed to be a reasonable time they ran out of rice. Something as much of a staple as rice is they ran out of fresh rice! But, in order to rectify the matter, the cashier takes a trash can liner (grocery store bag) full of rice out from somewhere and begins to distribute the contents into styrofome cups which is then microwaved! No refrigorator safe bags, they used a trashcan liner. The steak I had was also bland. Prior visits I had rice that seemed to be drenched in water then fried again to make all the water go away. It was disgusting. Are they even trying in there?

This is such a horrible operation, I refuse to believe that ownership/management stands for their employees to give up on their shifts and turn it in two hours before the restraunt closes. Someone should have the health inspector visit because I wouldn't want some unfortunate soul to get sick due to lack of standards.

Being from a hispanic heritage this place is discraceful, close it down. I'd rather go to Taco Burrito King and enjoy my well put together meal.
