Slow service. Rude management.

I won $30 gift certificate in a raffle at my mother's church. Turned out to be three $10 certificates, but I didn't think much of it, as normal restaurants (& any business I've ever seen othat offers gift GCs) will let you use multiple GCs.
Never been before but my mother has, & said it was a nice place. I took my mother and sister.
Restaurant was very full due to a huge party taking up most of the dining area. Got seated almost immediately, but had to ask for menus several minutes after, took a while to get them. After they brought menus, 3 people stopped within 5 minutes to ask if we'd been waited on. We had (in the sense that we'd ordered drinks & finally gotten menus; not that we'd ordered, since we'd only had menus 5 minutes).
Our waitress stopped by few minutes after that, & we let her know we needed a few more minutes.
When we'd decided, we set down our menus & waited. About 10-15 minutes later, the waitress rushed past our table & said she'd be right back. Came back few minutes later & then had to leave again when we started to order, because she'd forgotten to bring check w/drink order. We cut her some slack on wait & forgotten check, since it was obvious the place was understaffed.
Food was good.
Slow to refill water. Waitress stop by, we'd ask for refills, she'd come back 15-20 minutes later w/water. Again, we cut her slack b/c she was helping with the hugs party. Although, my mother was unhappy w/slow service by now.
We paid w/GCs & cash to cover rest of the bill+tip.
Waitress said certificates were limit 1 per table. My mother was irked by now & said "Tough" as I said "It doesn't say that" (why limit GCs is beyond me as GCs are same as cash!).
Mgr (Owner?) came out practically shouting "It's not tough! You'll pay this and won't come back!"
And no, we won't be back. Not because of any misunderstanding by the mgr, but because of outright rudeness, and that he made no attempt to discuss calmly, but rather lept to attack immediately.
- Pros: Food was great.
- Cons: Parking lot not plowed. Service slow. Management extremely rude/confrontational.
