Batir Architecture, Ltd., was founded by Paula A. Price, AIA to create a distinctive firm that provides client service, exceptional design, a focus on sustainable and unique design-build relationships. With over 15 years of architectural practice experience and being involved with other firms, Paula found that customer service, attention to detail and fun were frequently left out of the "recipe" for creating a building. Batir Architecture, Ltd., was founded to provide a more comfortable and relationship orientated focus to the experience of creating a building and interacting with the architect and design team.
Batir Architecture, Ltd., also believes strongly in a design-build approach to the design process. Working with a qualified contractor the architect and client can reap many benefits which are typically not available in the traditional design-bid-build system. Additionally, the contractor can receive an insight from the architect to understand the building design, its systems and the clients desires much more thoroughly. In an economy where time lines and budgets are always getting tighter, there are many benefits to a "team" approach to building design.
