Nice Experience. I just moved to IL from NY and since I have been here I have been able to try various restaurants around the area. I have had fast food, family style, Greek, Pizzas, Oriental, and now...Potbelly!

I no sooner walked in, and was greeted by the sweetest girl. She took the time to explain how this place works with the ordering, offered me all kinds of choices, and then while she put my creation together that she suggested, she was smiling and sweet the whole time. The best part of it was that she was not faking anything. It wasn't just company policy to be sweet, It was who she genuinely is.

When I received my order, it was fresh, warm, and I was thanked by both ladies then for trying out Potbelly.

My choice was to stay in the dining room and when I was half way through, the same sweet girl, busy with another order took the time to check that my first visit and the food was good for me. I reassured her everything was great and she flashed me that melting smile and went back to the order she was working on.

I thought I would log on while at the location I visited because it was important enough for me to commend Potbelly as well as the girl(s) that works here.

I will return and most likely frequently. The atmosphere, food, and service is great.

The owners of a Chicago antique shop decided to start serving sandwiches to their customers in 1977--and it ended up taking over the business. As the restaurant expanded, natural woods and antique fixtures were used to re-create the signature, old-time country store look at every location. The warm, fresh-roll sandwiches share this classic character--from roast beef and provolone to the Wreck (salami, roast beef, turkey, ham and Swiss). Malts, shakes, root beer floats and homemade ice cream sandwiches complete the throwback.
